Venom is arguably one the best villains in all of Marvel Comics. He's certainly one of Spider-Man's greatest foes. There are many different variations of the character and dozens of formats the character has been used in. Be it video games, films, animated series, or alternate versions in comic books, The Venom symbiote is in virtually every form of pop culture in one way or another. But which version of Venom is the best?

We've decided to compile some of our favorite interpretations, renditions, and versions of Venom here. Do you like playing as him in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 2? Or do you prefer him in Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage? Do you enjoy seeing him in animation form on Ultimate Spider-Man, or prefer him in the '90s animated series? Is Eddie Brock the only true Venom, or do you like Flash Thompson in the suit?

Here's the chance to see where it all lines up. What are the greatest interpretations of Venom ever? Make sure to vote up all your favorites and vote down the versions of the lethal protector that weren't interpreted well.

(And yes, one could argue that Carnage himself is an interpretation of Venom but that's a whole other conversation...)
