The Most Frightening Quotes From 'It: Chapter Two'

Here's your opportunity to vote for the best It Chapter Two quotes. This is the follow-up to the blockbuster 2017 Stephen King adaptation It, which grossed $327 million in North America alone, and another $372 million worldwide. Although there is plenty of horror in this sprawling 169-minute epic, there are also plenty of funny lines, thanks to the one-liners tossed off by Richie Tozier (played by Bill Hader) and Eddie Kaspbrak (James Ranson). These characters use humor as a defense mechanism against fear, so there are quite a few amusing bits of dialogue scattered throughout.

The sequel takes place twenty-seven years after the original. The now grown-up Losers Club -- Richie, Eddie, Bev (Jessica Chastain), Bill (James McAvoy), Mike (Isaiah Mustafa), and Ben (Jay Ryan) -- are summoned back to Derry, Maine, when the evil clown known as Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) has reared his head again. As several of the It Chapter Two quotes reveal, this is more than a movie about an evil clown. Instead, it's a story about trauma and abuse, and how the characters need to heal painful incidents from their pasts if they want to vanquish Pennywise once and for all. In short, this is a horror movie with real substance.
