Jujutsu Kaisen is a shonen anime about students learning to fight using Cursed energy. Dark, gritty, and action-packed, it's not particularly romantic most of the time. There aren't a whole lot of canon Jujutsu Kaisen couples, but that hasn't stopped fans from coming up with a plethora of fun and creative JJK ships.
What are some of the popular Jujutsu Kaisen ships? One of the most popular is Megumi x Itadori. It's only natural to want to see the protagonist in a happy relationship with his closest friend. While some people also ship Nobara with her male teammates, even more fans like seeing her with Maki Zenin. Not interested in the love lives of teenagers? Maybe you prefer Gojo x Nanami, or Gojo x Utahime. Part of what makes fandom so great is that everyone likes something different, but hopefully you'll find a few ships you like on this list.
Muta, also known as Mechamaru, was born with a severe disability that made it impossible for him to attend classes in person. Instead, he attended via a Cursed item that resembled a robot. His greatest desire was to spend time with his friends - particularly Miwa - using his own body and his own senses. In a sense, Miwa is one of the things that give Muta hope for the future.
Spoiler time: This ship actually does have a canon basis, since Muta confesses his feelings for Miwa later in the manga. Unfortunately, he doesn't survive much longer than that. It's hard to say whether the two would have had a relationship if that hadn't happened, but that possibility is a big part of the ship's appeal.
Out of all the femslash ships in the JJK fandom, Maki and Nobara's is the most popular by far. As two of the only female students at Jujutsu Tech, they have an immediate reason to bond. They clearly enjoy each other's company, getting meals and going shopping together in their free time.
Nobara is pretty explicit about her affection for Maki. She tells Maki she thinks she's awesome for her commitment to getting stronger, and also that she's prettier than her twin sister Mai. That's a strong basis for a ship.
Megumi and Itadori have been working together since the start of the series, so it's only natural that some fans want to see them take their relationship to the next level. Their contrasting personalities have a similar appeal to ships like Naruto x Sasuke, but these two get along better than their shonen forebears.
When Megumi thinks about a good person, he thinks of Itadori. When Megumi compliments Itadori's skills, he straight-up blushes. Though they do bicker from time to time, they support and care for one another. Whether or not their relationship is romantic is up to the fans.
Gojo and Geto were once classmates at Jujutsu Tech. There, they became close friends who trusted each other implicitly. But a difference in ideology and the fact that Geto became a Curse-user put them on opposite sides of a conflict and eventually forced Gojo to take his old friend's life.
A deep connection that's fraught with conflict is exactly what some shippers are looking for.
Maki and Yuta didn't get along particularly well at first because Maki thought Yuta's kindness was fake. But as they started working together, that changed. Maki started to see Yuta's behavior as genuine. Meanwhile, Yuta was impressed by Maki's dedication to proving her strength and overcoming her family's prejudices, and told her so with enthusiasm.
The positive vibes between the two make them hard not to ship.
This is the top ship in the fandom for both Toge and Yuta. The two begin as classmates at Jujutsu Tech. At first, Yuta doesn't think he'll be able to understand Toge due to his riceball-based vocabulary. But as they fight against Curses together, Yuta finds that he does understand Toge to some degree.
The two of them end up getting really close before they're separated, both through battle and through other interactions. They become so attached that Yuta is willing to take Yuji's life because he was partially to blame for Toge losing his arm.
