Many heroes have been a part of DC&#39;s most famous superhero team since its inception in the 60s, but who are the best members of the Justice League?&nbsp;According to fans, below are the&nbsp;top members of the <a class="edS-cl" href="https://www.ranker.com/list/all-justice-league-characters/reference?ref=internalCrossLinking_keyword">Justice League list</a>. When you think of superhero teams with some seriously powerful members, most people will bring up the Justice League. After all, it&#39;s the team that has the likes of Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and Superman as some of its core members. On top of them, pretty much every major player in the DC Universe has been a member of the Justice League at one time or another.&nbsp;

While that includes some seriously heavy hitters, it also means the team has had plenty of members who barely compare to the team&#39;s top-tier characters. For every Superman, there&#39;s an unpowered do-gooder with a few tricks and skills barely better than the average non-meta human. That&#39;s not to say these characters aren&#39;t great on their own, but when you compare them to Wonder Woman, Superman, or the Flash - well, there&#39;s no comparison.

They may not be lame, bad, or terrible, but when you compare these characters to the Justice League&#39;s best, these folks are pretty much the worst and weakest characters to belong to the team. Timeline

Warner Bros.&#39; superhero flick&nbsp;Justice League&nbsp;didn&#39;t exactly <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2017/11/20/a-justice-league-that-copied-the-avengers-was-doomed-to-fail/#772978b09832" target="_blank">set the world on fire</a> when it hit theaters back in 2017. However, a heavily rumored&nbsp;alternate Justice League Director&#39;s Cut&nbsp; - colloquially known as the &quot;Snyder Cut&quot; - has become a lightning rod for a certain subset of DC film fans.&nbsp;

Heading into Justice League, idiosyncratic director Zack Snyder - the man behind both 2013&#39;s&nbsp;Man of Steel&nbsp;and 2016&#39;s&nbsp;Batman v&nbsp;Superman: Dawn of Justice,&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a href="/list/zack-snyder-dceu_revelations/leo-reyna" target="_blank">former mastermind of the DC Extended Universe</a>&nbsp;(DCEU) - intended to continue with his vision of the characters from the previous two films, but a personal tragedy pulled him away from the project.&nbsp;After the <a href="https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/batman_v_superman_dawn_of_justice" target="_blank">lukewarm critical reception</a> to&nbsp;Batman v&nbsp;Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. decided to bring writer/director Joss Whedon in to give the cash-cow franchise a lighter tone. Darkseid

Darkseid is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #134, and he was created by writer-artist Jack Kirby. Darkseid is one of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe. Debuting in the Silver Age of Comic Books, he has appeared in four decades of DC Comics publications, featuring prominently in the New Gods titles and limited series as the nemesis of the New Gods and Superman. He has also been associated with the DC Comics related media and merchandise such as animated television series, toys, trading cards, and video games. Darkseid was ranked at No #6 on IGN's Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time in 2014.

Brainiac

Brainiac is a fictional supervillain that appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in Action Comics #242, and was created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino.
An extraterrestrial android, Brainiac is a principal foe of Superman, and is responsible for shrinking and stealing Kandor, the capital city of Superman's home planet Krypton. Due to multiple revisions of DC's continuity, several variations of Brainiac have appeared. Most incarnations of Brainiac depict him as a green-skinned being in humanoid form. He is bald, except for a set of diodes protruding from his skull.
The character is the origin of the informal word which means "genius". The name itself is a portmanteau of the words brain and maniac, with influence from ENIAC, the name of an early computer. In 2009, Brainiac was ranked as IGN's 17th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time.

Doomsday

Doomsday is a supervillain who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. Doomsday first appeared as a cameo in Superman: The Man of Steel #17 with his first full appearance in Superman: The Man of Steel #18. He was created by writer-artist Dan Jurgens, who wanted to create a villain who could be a physical challenge for Superman in a straight fight as most of his current foes relied on technology and intellect to oppose the Man of Steel.
Imagine Games Network's list of the Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time ranked Doomsday as #46. He is best known as the character who "killed" Superman.

Lex Luthor

Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Lex Luthor is the archenemy of Superman, although given his high status as a supervillain, he has also come into conflict with Batman and other superheroes in the DC Universe. Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the character first appeared in Action Comics #23. Luthor is a wealthy, power-mad business magnate, one of the most intelligent beings in the DC Universe, and has incredible technological prowess. Lex Luthor's goals typically center on killing Superman, the foremost obstacle to achieving the villain's megalomaniacal goals. Despite periodically wearing a powered exoskeleton, Luthor has traditionally lacked superpowers or a dual identity. Lex Luthor has carefully crafted his public persona in order to avoid suspicion and arrest. He is well known for his philanthropy, donating millions of dollars to Metropolis over the years, funding parks, foundations, and charities.
Lex Luthor typically appears in comic books and other media as a business magnate with a bald head.

Joker

The Joker is a fictional supervillain who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Jerry Robinson, Bill Finger, and Bob Kane, and first appeared in Batman #1. Credit for the character's creation is disputed; Kane and Robinson claimed responsibility for the Joker's design, while acknowledging Finger's writing contribution.

Anti-Monitor

The Anti-Monitor is a character, a comic book supervillain and the antagonist of the 1985 DC Comics miniseries Crisis on Infinite Earths. He first appeared in Crisis on Infinite Earths #2, and was destroyed in Crisis on Infinite Earths #12, only to return after a long absence in Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special #1. In 2009, Anti-Monitor was ranked as IGN's 49th greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time.

Vandal Savage

Vandal Savage is a fictional character, a supervillain published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Green Lantern vol. 1 #10, and was created by Alfred Bester and Martin Nodell.
Savage is immortal, and has plagued the earth with crime and violence since before the beginning of recorded human history. He is a brilliant tactician with immense technological prowess. He is one of DC's most persistent villains and has fought hundreds of heroes throughout history. In 2009, Vandal Savage was ranked as IGN's 36th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time.

Deathstroke

Deathstroke the Terminator is a fictional supervillain, and sometimes antihero, who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. He is a mercenary and assassin who first appeared in The New Teen Titans #2. Wizard magazine rated him the 24th greatest villain of all time and the 32nd greatest comic book character of all time. Also, in 2009, Deathstroke was ranked as IGN's 32nd greatest comic book villain of all time.
Originally a villain for the Teen Titans, writers have developed him over the years as an antagonist for the older heroes Batman and Green Arrow as well, establishing parallels between him and Batman and a deep-seated grudge between him and Green Arrow. His role as a villain for Batman and Green Arrow is reflected by his prominence in Batman video games and animated films, and in the Arrow television series.

Ra's al Ghul

Ra's al Ghul is a fictional supervillain who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. Besides being considered to be one of Batman's greatest enemies, given his high status as a supervillain, Ra's al Ghul has also come into conflict with Superman and other heroes in the DC Universe. He is the son of Sensei, the father of Talia al Ghul, Nyssa Raatko, and Dusan al Ghul, and the grandfather of Damian Wayne. His name in Arabic has been translated in the comics as "The Demon's Head".
Ra's al Ghul has been featured in various media adaptions, most notably voiced by David Warner in Batman: The Animated Series and by Dee Bradley Baker in Batman: Arkham City, and was portrayed by actor Liam Neeson in the film Batman Begins and is currently portrayed by actor Matt Nable in the TV Series Arrow.

Amazo

Amazo is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appears in The Brave and the Bold #30 and was created by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson. Debuting in the Silver Age of Comic Books, the character has appeared in comic books and other DC Comics-related products, including animated television series, trading cards and video games.

Professor Zoom

Eobard Thawne, also known as "Professor Zoom" and "Reverse-Flash", is a comic book supervillain in the DC Universe. Thawne is the archenemy and a foil of the superhero Barry Allen, the second hero to be called the Flash. Thawne is also the second of the Reverse-Flashes, as well as a maternal forefather of Bart Allen and Owen Mercer. Created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino, Thawne first appeared in The Flash #139 in September 1963, and remained one of Barry Allen's most formidable adversaries in comics over the next quarter century.
In Flash #324, Thawne was apparently killed by the Flash in an effort to save his fiancée, and spare her the death that Thawne gave to Flash's first wife, Iris. Largely unseen over the next 25 years except in sporadic appearances, Thawne was resurrected by writer Geoff Johns in 2009's The Flash: Rebirth, and reimagined as a major villain in the DC Universe with his reintroduction. Johns compares this to his similar treatment of Green Lantern villain Sinestro in an early outline of the Rebirth series.

Thaal Sinestro is a fictional character who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics, as well as in a number of television and movie adaptations. He was created in 1961 by John Broome and Gil Kane.
Sinestro is a former Green Lantern who was dishonorably discharged for abusing his power. He is the Green Lanterns' most famous villain, though he occasionally has acted in anti-heroic roles as well.

Gorilla Grodd

Gorilla Grodd is a fictional supervillain appearing in DC Comics, primarily as an enemy of The Flash. He debuted in Flash v.1 #106, and was created by writer John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino.

Bizarro

Bizarro is a fictional super villain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by writer Otto Binder and artist George Papp as a "mirror image" of Superman and first appeared in Superboy #68.
Debuting in the Silver Age of Comic Books, the character has often been portrayed as an antagonist to Superman, and appeared in both comic books and graphic novels, and other DC Comics-related products such as animated and live-action television series, trading cards, toys, and video games.
Bizarro was Ranked no 25 on IGN's List of 100 Top Comic Book Villains, and the term itself has entered the lexicon beyond pop culture.

Mongul

Mongul is the name of two fictional characters that appear in comic books published by DC Comics. The first version of the character debuted in DC Comics Presents #27 and was created by writer Len Wein and artist Jim Starlin. The second version first appears in Showcase '95 #8 as an infant, and was created by writer Peter J. Tomasi and artist Scot Eaton.
Debuting in the Bronze Age of comic books, Mongul has been featured in other DC Comics-endorsed products such as animated television series; video games; a direct-to-DVD film, and merchandise such as action figures and trading cards.

General Zod

General Zod is a fictional character, a supervillain who appears in comic books published by DC Comics, and is one of Superman's more prominent enemies. The character, who first appeared in Adventure Comics #283, was created by Robert Bernstein and initially designed by George Papp. Zod is a warlord from Superman's home planet of Krypton. As a Kryptonian, he exhibits the same powers and abilities as Superman and is consequently viewed as one of his greatest enemies.
In Superman and Superman II, British actor Terence Stamp portrayed the character, which Total Film later ranked as #32 on their "Top 50 Greatest Villains Of All Time" list in 2007. Pop-culture website IGN.com ranked General Zod as #30 on their list of the "Top 100 Comic Book Villains", asserting that "Stamp is Zod". Recently, the character was played by Michael Shannon in Zack Snyder's 2013 film Man of Steel, and by Callum Blue in Smallville.

Solomon Grundy

Solomon Grundy is a fictional zombie supervillain in the DC Comics universe and as an antihero in the DC animated universe. Named after the 19th century nursery rhyme, Grundy was introduced as an enemy of the Golden Age Green Lantern, but has since become a prominent enemy for a number of superheroes, such as Superman and Batman. He also has ties to DC/Vertigo's Swamp Thing character, vital in the sprout storyline. He first appeared in All-American Comics #61. Solomon Grundy is one of the earliest, if not the first, depictions of a zombie in the comic medium.

Red Lanterns

Starro

Starro is a fictional supervillain that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in Brave and the Bold #28, and was created by Gardner Fox and Mike Sekowsky.
Starro is the first villain to face the original Justice League of America. Debuting in the Silver Age of Comic Books, the character has appeared in both comic books and other DC Comics-related products such as animated television series; and trading cards.

Bane

Bane is a supervillain, often antihero who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character's origin was in Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1, and was created by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, and Graham Nolan. Bane has been one of Batman's more physically and intellectually powerful foes. He is often credited for being the only villain to have "Broken The Bat". IGN's list of the Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time ranked Bane as #34.
Bane was portrayed by Robert Swenson in the 1997 film Batman & Robin, and by Tom Hardy as the main antagonist in the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises.

In 2010 IGN named Despero the 96th greatest comic book villain of all time.

Superboy-Prime

Superboy-Prime, also known as Superman-Prime or simply Prime, is a DC Comics superhero turned supervillain, and one of several alternate Supermen. The character first appeared in DC Comics Presents #87, and was created by Elliot S! Maggin and Curt Swan.
Superboy-Prime is from a parallel Earth called Earth-Prime that had no super-heroes. There, Superman and the other comic superheroes were fictional characters only seen in comic books. The Earth-Prime universe was erased during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, and Superboy-Prime ended up in a "paradise" dimension where during that time, he found himself unable to let go of his former life and his destiny as Earth's greatest hero.
Over time, his convictions and morals become twisted and warped, such as believing that Earth-Prime is the only proper Earth and that he, Superboy-Prime, was the only one worthy of the mantle of Superboy. Prime firmly believes that becoming Superman is his calling despite the fact that he has become a psychotic and murderous villain. His overwhelming strength, speed, and ruthlessness make him one of the most dangerous foes in the DC Universe.
