The Best Kansas City Chiefs Coaches of All Time

Updated February 14, 2020 2.5k votes 591 voters 17.1k views13 items

There have been many Kansas City Chiefs coaches since the team got its start, but who is truly the best Kansas City Chiefs coach of all time? Help us answer that question by upvoting your personal favorite KC Chiefs coaches, and downvoting any that you believe brought the team down.

Andy Reid is the winningest football coach in Chiefs history, coaching the team to its first Super Bowl win in 50 years with a victory in Super Bowl LIV in 2020. Marty Schottenheimer is the next-winningest coach in Chiefs franchise history, with a 101-58 regular season record. Despite their NFL dominance in the early '90s, the team never won a championship under coach Marty.

Besides Reid, the only other former coach to win a Super Bowl with the Chiefs is the legendary Hank Stram, the very first coach of the Chiefs. During his time with Kansas City, Stram captured 2 AFL Championships pre-merger, and eventually a Super Bowl Championship at Super Bowl IV.

Who is the greatest Kansas City Chiefs coach of all time? Let us know by upvoting for your favorite head coaches below that you believe really made an impact on the franchise.
