Emmitt Thomas

Emmitt Earl Thomas (born June 3, 1943) is a former American football coach and cornerback. He most recently served as the defensive backs coach for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played in college at the now defunct Bishop College. He played professionally for Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He owns the Chiefs all-time interception record with 58, which places him ninth on pro football's all-time list. Thomas was elected to the NFL's Pro Football Hall of Fame after being nominated by the Seniors Committee.

Dale Carter

Dale Lavelle Carter (born November 28, 1969) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, and Baltimore Ravens.

Kevin Ross

Kevin Lesley Ross (born January 16, 1962) is a former American football cornerback and safety and the current cornerbacks coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ross was drafted in the 7th round of the 1984 NFL Draft with the 173rd overall selection by the Kansas City Chiefs, where he spent his first 10 seasons. He also played two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, one year with the San Diego Chargers, then returned to the Chiefs for one season in 1997.

Albert Lewis

Albert Ray Lewis (born October 6, 1960) is a former American football player who played in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders. Lewis is a father of three children all of which played or currently play sports in college; his son Julian Lewis is a former defensive back for the University of New Mexico.

James Hasty

James Edward Hasty (born May 23, 1965) is a former professional American football cornerback who played in the National Football League for the New York Jets, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Oakland Raiders from 1988 to 2001.

Patrick Surtain

Patrick Frank Surtain (; born June 19, 1976) is a former American football cornerback who played eleven seasons in the National Football League (NFL).  He played college football for the University of Southern Mississippi.  He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft, and also played for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brandon Lavar Flowers (born February 18, 1986) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Virginia Tech, and was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

Brandon Carr

Brandon Carey Carr (born May 19, 1986) is an American football cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Grand Valley State and was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Dallas Cowboys. He is the active leader for consecutive starts by an NFL defensive player.

Jim Marsalis

James Marsalis (born October 10, 1945) is an American former college and Professional Football player. He played nine professional seasons as a cornerback for Tennessee State, from the 1969 American Football League season through the 1977 NFL season. He helped the American Football League's Kansas City Chiefs beat the defending World Champion New York Jets in the first game of the 1969 AFL playoffs, making two interceptions off the Jets' Joe Namath.  Following that, he started in the Fourth AFL-NFL World Championship Game for the AFL's Kansas City Chiefs, defeating the Minnesota Vikings in the last World Championship game played between the AFL Champions and those of the National Football League.  Marsalis was selected by Pro Football Weekly as the 1969 AFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Mark Collins

Mark Anthony Collins (born January 16, 1964) is a former American football cornerback and safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round of the 1986 NFL Draft. He played college football at Cal State Fullerton.
Collins also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and Seattle Seahawks. He was a two-time Super Bowl champion while with the Giants.

David Lee Grayson (June 6, 1939 – July 29, 2017) was an American football defensive back in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL) for the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders. He played college football at the University of Oregon.

Gary Green

Gary Francis Green (born October 2, 1955) is a former American football cornerback. A star at Baylor, he played nine professional seasons as a cornerback from 1977-1985 in the National Football League and intercepted 33 passes over the course of his career.  Green was selected to 4 Pro Bowls and 5 All-Pro Teams during his career.

Ty Law

Tajuan E. "Ty" Law (born February 10, 1974) is a former American football cornerback who played fifteen seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Michigan. He was drafted by the New England Patriots 23rd overall in the 1995 NFL Draft. Law is a two-time All-Pro, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, a Pro Bowl MVP, and has won three Super Bowls with the Patriots. His 53 career interceptions rank 24th all-time in NFL history; he is widely regarded as one of the best defensive backs of all time. Law was added to the New England Patriots Hall of Fame as its 20th member and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2019.

Mark McMillian

Mark D. McMillian (born April 29, 1970), nicknamed Mighty Mouse, is a former American football cornerback who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, and Washington Redskins.
McMillian attended Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, California, where he did not start playing organized football until his senior year. He played college football at the University of Alabama after transferring from Glendale Junior College. In 1991, while in college at Alabama, he returned an interception for a 98-yard touchdown versus Tennessee-Chattanooga, a school record.McMillian was drafted by the Eagles with the 272nd overall pick in the 10th round of the 1992 NFL Draft. In 1997, while playing for the Chiefs, he led the NFL in interception return yards and was tied for second-most interceptions with 8.One of the smallest players in the NFL, McMillian stood 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) and was listed at various points in his career as 162 lb (73 kg), 154 lb (70 kg), and 148 lb (67 kg). In October 1995, he won an Emmy Award for his regular segment of teammate Randall Cunningham's weekly pregame show. The segment, titled Little Big Men, showcased highlights from players standing 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m) or shorter.

Eric Wayne "Coochie" Harris (August 11, 1955 – February 19, 2012) was a gridiron football defensive back. Drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1977, Harris was convinced to play Canadian football in the Canadian Football League by Leo Cahill. He played for the Toronto Argonauts from 1977 to 1979. He then played American football for six seasons in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs (1980–1982) and the Los Angeles Rams (1983–1985).
On February 27, 1981, The Committee of 101's 12th Annual salute to professional football presented Eric with the Mack Lee Hill Award.

Sean Smith

Sean Lee Smith (born July 14, 1987) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders. He played college football at Utah.

Fred Williamson

Frederick Robert Williamson (born March 5, 1938), also known as The Hammer, is an American actor and former professional American football defensive back who played mainly in the American Football League during the 1960s. Williamson is perhaps best known for his film career; starring as Tommy Gibbs in the 1973 crime drama film Black Caesar and its sequel Hell Up in Harlem. Williamson also had other notable roles in other 1970s blaxploitation films such as; Hammer (1972), That Man Bolt (1973) and Three the Hard Way (1974).

Eric Andrew Warfield (born March 3, 1976) is a former professional football cornerback. He was drafted by the Chiefs in the seventh round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska. Warfield also spent a portion of the 2006 offseason with the New England Patriots.

Kendall Fuller

Kendall Christopher Fuller (born February 13, 1995) is an American football cornerback for the Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL). Fuller played his college football at Virginia Tech and was drafted by Washington, then known as the Redskins, in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, where he recorded the game-sealing interception in their Super Bowl LIV victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

David A. Webster, Jr. (July 23, 1937 – June 23, 2006) in Atlanta, Texas, was a professional American football cornerback who played two seasons for that American Football League's Dallas Texans, 1960-1961.  He was an All-AFL selection in 1961.
