Nick Lowery

Dominic Gerald Lowery (born May 27, 1956), nicknamed Nick the Kick, is a former American football placekicker for the New England Patriots (1978), the Kansas City Chiefs (1980–1993), and New York Jets (1994–1996). Lowery was selected to the Pro Bowl three times and when he retired was ranked first in field goal percentage and also had the most field goals in NFL history. As of 2018 he was 16th on the National Football League's list of all-time scoring leaders, and is the Chiefs' all-time leading scorer, with 1,466 points in his 14 seasons with the club.
Nick grew up in Washington, D.C. and attended St. Albans School where he was a star football player.
He attended Dartmouth College. He has an M.P.A from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, the first pro athlete to graduate from there.
In 2009 Lowery was inducted into the Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame.

Jan Stenerud

Jan Stenerud (, Norwegian: [ˈsteːnərʉːd]; born November 26, 1942) is a Norwegian-born former American football player for the AFL/NFL Kansas City Chiefs (1967–1979), Green Bay Packers (1980–1983), and Minnesota Vikings (1984–1985). He is the first pure placekicker to be inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Stenerud is distinguished as being the first Norwegian to play in the NFL.

Morten Andersen

Morten Andersen (born August 19, 1960), nicknamed the "Great Dane", is a Danish-American former American football kicker and All-American at Michigan State University. He is the all-time leader in games played in the NFL, with 382. He formerly held both the NFL records for field goals and points scored, both records were broken by Adam Vinatieri in 2018. At retirement, Andersen was the all-time leading scorer for two different rival teams; the New Orleans Saints, with whom he spent 13 seasons, and the Atlanta Falcons, with whom he spent a combined eight seasons.
He retired in 2008, after not playing for a team that season. Andersen was announced as a member of the 2017 induction class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame at that year's NFL Honors. He is only the second exclusive placekicker inducted in the Hall of Fame, and the first since Jan Stenerud in 1991.

Ryan Succop

Ryan Barrow Succop (born September 19, 1986) is an American football placekicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). Succop played college football at South Carolina and was the 2009 Mr. Irrelevant by virtue of being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the final pick of the 2009 NFL Draft. Succop was the Buccaneers starting placekicker in their 31–9 victory over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV, becoming the first Mr. Irrelevant to both play in and win a Super Bowl.

Pete Stoyanovich

Peter Stoyanovich (born April 28, 1967 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan) is an American football placekicker of Macedonian descent. His father Mijalce and his mother Slobodanka are from Ljubojno, North Macedonia. He played with the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and briefly the St. Louis Rams in the NFL. He attended college at Indiana University where he played both football and soccer.
A first-team all-pro in 1992, Stoyanovich finished his career in the top 35 in NFL history in all kicking categories. He led the NFL in scoring in 1992. His game-tying 58-yard field goal in a 1991 Wild Card playoff set a record for the longest field goal in NFL playoff history, which has since been tied by Graham Gano in 2018.
Stoyanovich served as the kicking double for Sean Young in Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. He also plays the character at the urinal when Ace is searching for the Dolphins ring with the missing stone.

Cairo Santos

Cairo Fernandes Santos (born 12 November 1991) is a Brazilian professional American football placekicker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tulane, and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Santos has also played for the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Tennessee Titans. He is the first Brazilian born player in NFL history.

Tommy Brooker

William Thomas "Tommy" Brooker (born October 31, 1939) is a former American football player.  A placekicker and end, Brooker played for the Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs of the American Football League (AFL) from 1962 to 1966.  Brooker played college football at the University of Alabama under legendary coach Bear Bryant.  He was drafted by the Texans in the 17th round (131st overall) in the 1962 AFL Draft and by the Washington Redskins in the 16th round (211th overall) in the same year's NFL Draft.
Doubling as an offensive end, Brooker had his best statistical season in his rookie year, 1962. He caught four passes, three for touchdowns, the only ones he would score during his career. He also made all 33 of his extra point attempts and kicked 12 of 22 field goals for a total of 87 points.
Brooker was a member of the Texans team that won the 1962 AFL Championship game, the Texans defeating the Houston Oilers (who had won the first two AFL title games, in 1960 and 1961) at Jeppesen Stadium. It would be the franchise's final game before their move from Dallas to Kansas City. Teammate Bill Hull intercepted the Oilers' George Blanda late in the first overtime of professional football's longest championship game.  Hull's interception allowed the Texans to start the second overtime with two runs by Jack Spikes to move the ball to the Oilers' 25-yard line, and Brooker kicked a field goal to give the Texans the win, 20– 17. The field goal saved Texans star running back Abner Haynes from what could have been a costly error: at the start of the overtime, Haynes won the coin toss and stated that his team would "kick to the clock", which not only gave the Oilers first possession, but put the wind at their backs (the Oilers having gotten the choice of which end zone to defend). The Texans saved Haynes from embarrassment by preventing Houston from scoring in the first overtime; after the teams switched sides for the second, Brooker kicked the winning field goal 2 minutes and 54 seconds in.
On September 8, 1963, in the Chiefs' inaugural game since moving from Dallas, Brooker converted eight extra points in a 59-7 victory over the Denver Broncos. This remains tied as a franchise single-game record, Mike Mercer and Lawrence Tynes equaling it in 1966 and 2004 respectively.
Brooker enjoyed two more solid seasons in 1964 and 1965. In the former, during which he would be named to the AFL All-Star Game, he made eight field goals and led the AFL with 46 extra points in as many attempts, for a total of 70 points. In 1965, he kicked a career-high 13 field goals and was a perfect 37-for-37 in PATs, for 76 points.
In his career Brooker scored 290 points: the three touchdowns in 1962, 41 field goals in 85 attempts, and a perfect 149-for-149 in PATs. To date, he holds the Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs record for most career extra point attempts without a miss.

Mike Mercer

Michael Mercer (born November 21, 1935) is a former American football kicker and punter who played for six teams from (1961–1970). In the American Football League, he played for the Oakland Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.  He was a member of the Chiefs' 1966 AFL Championship team that played in the first AFL-NFL World Championship Game.
Mercer's 9 yard field goal attempt was blocked by Larry "Wildman" Eisenhauer and recovered by Don Webb, with about 3 minutes left, in the Oakland Raiders 43-43 tie with the Boston Patriots on October 16, 1964. On December 22, 1963 Mercer kicked a 4th quarter 39 yard field goal to break a 49-49 tie with the Oilers and give the Raiders a 52-49 win. In that same game Mercer was 7 for 7 on extra points. Mercer led the Raiders in scoring in 1964 with 79 points, hitting 15 field goals and all 34 extra point attempts.

Tom Pennington

Thomas Durward Pennington Jr. (November 26, 1939 – March 4, 2013) was an American football placekicker who played in the American Football League (AFL). He was born in Albany, Georgia. Pennington played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 12th round (168th overall) of the 1962 National Football League Draft and the Buffalo Bills in the 11th round (86th overall) of the 1962 AFL Draft but did not play for either team. He played with the Dallas Texans in 1962.

Ben Agajanian

Benjamin James "The Toeless Wonder" Agajanian (August 28, 1919 – February 8, 2018) was an American football player, primarily a placekicker in the National Football League, the All-America Football Conference and American Football League.
Born in Santa Ana, California, he graduated from San Pedro High School in the San Pedro community in Los Angeles. A placekicker, he played college football at Compton Junior College and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II as a physical training instructor.Agajanian played professionally in the National Football League from 1945 through 1959, then in the newly formed American Football League for the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers in 1960, 1961, and 1964.  He also played for the Dallas Texans in 1961 and the Oakland Raiders in 1962.  He is one of two players (the other was Hardy Brown) who played in the All-America Football Conference, the American Football League, and the National Football League.While playing in college, Agajanian had four toes of his kicking foot crushed in a work accident and then amputated in 1939, but overcame the injury to become pro football's second kicking specialist (after Mose Kelsch), booting field goals for 10 different professional teams in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, including two NFL champions: the New York Giants in  1956 and the Green Bay Packers in 1961.  After retiring from the field at age 45, he was the Dallas Cowboys kicking coach for 20 years.
Agajanian died in Cathedral City, California on February 8, 2018 at age 98. His older brother was the late Motorsports promoter J.C. Agajanian.



John Carney

John Michael Carney (born April 20, 1964) is a retired American football placekicker.  He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 1987. He played college football at Notre Dame.
Carney was also a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, and New York Giants. He was a Pro Bowl selection with the Chargers in 1994 and with the Giants in 2008.  When he was released from the Saints' active roster in December 2009, Carney was third on the NFL career scoring list with a career total of 2,044 points. He was the last remaining player from the 1980s still active in professional football.  He has also worked as a kicking consultant for the Saints.

Nick Novak

Nicholas Ryan Novak (born August 21, 1981) is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He played college football at Maryland.
Novak has played for the Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, and Houston Texans of the NFL, as well as the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe and the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League (UFL).

Eddie Murray

Edward Peter Murray (born August 29, 1956) is a former kicker in the National Football League for the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins. He played college football at Tulane University.

Justin Medlock

Justin Charles Medlock (born October 23, 1983) is an American professional player of Canadian football who is a placekicker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and earned consensus All-American honors. The Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Medlock has also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL, as well as the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL).

Michael Husted

Michael James Husted (born June 16, 1970) is a former American football placekicker who played in the National Football League. He played nine seasons with four teams.  His first six seasons were with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also played for the Oakland Raiders, the Washington Redskins, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He retired after the 2002 season.

Todd Peterson

Joseph Todd Peterson (born February 4, 1970) is a retired American football placekicker. He was drafted by the New York Giants from the University of Georgia with the ninth pick of the seventh round (177th overall) in the 1993 NFL Draft. Peterson last played with the Atlanta Falcons in 2005. His contract with the Falcons expired on March 11, 2006 and he retired after that season.  He and his wife, Susan, are co-owners of Cabell's Designs LLC, with Cabell Sweeney.  Cabell's is a design and licensing group focusing on collegiately licensed products in the giftware industry.

Dave Rayner

David Michael "Dave" Rayner (born October 26, 1982) is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League. He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Michigan State. Rayner shares the NFL record for most teams played on with J. T. O'Sullivan, and Billy Cundiff; each has played for 11 teams.
Rayner was also a member of the Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders, and Buffalo Bills.



Lawrence Tynes

Lawrence James Henry Tynes (born May 3, 1978) is a Scottish-born former American football placekicker. After playing soccer for Milton High School a coach suggested he try out for the football team as a kicker. He played college football at Troy and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2001. After four seasons in Kansas City, he was traded to the Giants in 2007. In his first season with the Giants, he kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime against the Green Bay Packers in the 2007–08 NFC Championship Game, which qualified the Giants for Super Bowl XLII. Four years later, he kicked another overtime field goal against the San Francisco 49ers in the 2011–12 NFC Championship Game, which qualified the Giants for Super Bowl XLVI. He has experienced his best success in New York, winning two Super Bowl championships in 2007 and 2011, winning against the New England Patriots in both games.
Tynes is the only player in NFL history to have two overtime game-winning field goals in the playoffs. Tynes kicked the longest post-season field goal in Lambeau Field post-season history (47 yards) in the 2007 NFC Championship Game. He then kicked a 31-yard field goal in overtime in the NFC Championship game to advance the New York Giants to Super Bowl XLVI in 2011.

Connor Barth

Connor Thomas Barth (born April 11, 1986) is an American football kicker who is currently a free agent. He played college football at North Carolina and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He is currently a real estate agent for Intracoastal Realty in Wilmington NC. 
Barth has been a member of the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Bears. He currently holds the highest field goal percentage in Buccaneers franchise history, a record he achieved during the 2011 season. He also broke another franchise record during the 2012 season in which he made 25 consecutive field goals. He is also the most accurate kicker in Buccaneers history, converting 83.8 percent of his field goal attempts (114-of-136) with the club. His 114 field goals, 135 PATs, and 447 points all rank third in franchise history. Barth holds the Buccaneers franchise record for consecutive field goals made with 25.

Lin Elliott

Lindley Franklin Elliott Jr. (born November 11, 1968) is a former kicker in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football at Texas Tech. He earned a Super Bowl ring playing for the Cowboys in Super Bowl XXVII.
