Which cartoons appear on this list of the top kids animated shows? Of course, Tom and Jerry made our list. Tom and Jerry is one of the best clean cartoons for kids of all time. It was created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1940 and originally ran for 17 years (Hanna-Barbera cartoons are some of the most beloved of all time). Dora the Explorer is also a good kids show, thanks to its emphasis on education, its catchy jingles, and adorable characters. 

There are other good childrens cartoon shows like Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles also appear on this list of cartoon shows with clean humor. Adventure Time is one of the newest kids cartoons to gain a cult following with children, as well as their parents. It was created by Pendleton Ward and premiered on Cartoon Network in 2010.
