Unlike mediocre heroes, Kirby doesn’t need a sword nor a gun to take down foes. So of all the games in the Kirby franchise, which are the best?
There are more than 10 main games in the Kirby franchise across multiple platforms, along with several remakes and remasters. Heck, there was also a manga series and anime series at one time. Kirby can also be seen crossing over to other games as well, most notably the Super Smash Brothers franchise.
Kirby gameplay has more or less stayed true to the original 2D side scrolling formula throughout the series, but that isn’t a bad thing as it’s so fun. Though Kirby games now feature 3D graphics, they still more or less play on a 2D plane. Maybe one day, the franchise will go full 3D like Mario, but until that day the best Kirby games are still 2D.
