Lifetime may be known for their outlandish, action-packed crime dramas, but surprisingly the network doesn’t have a whole lot of mafia TV movies. Where they do excel is in organized crime: from the based-on-a-true-story shenanigans in The Bling Ring to the true tale of one of the most notorious gangsters ever, Clyde Barrow. They even throw in some suspicious religious leaders who may or may not be in charge of the largest crime scams in the world (depending on who you ask at the FBI). Other films incllude the Kristie Alley movie Baby Sellers, which follows the world of infant trafficking, and Family Vanished, in which a family returns from vacation to find their identities stolen while they are framed for crimes.
Lifetime’s gangster movies list is exceedingly small compared to the overwhelming amount of kidnapping and teen trauma content they put out, but the ones they do have are totally worth a watch. From women who basically run the cartel to the daughters of famous mobsters, this list of lifetime Mafia films is the best of the best. Vote up the good organized crime Lifetime movies and vote down your least favorite.
