Lance Alworth

Lance Dwight Alworth (born August 3, 1940) is a former American football player who was a wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers of the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL) and Dallas Cowboys of the NFL.  He played for eleven seasons, from 1962 through 1972, and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1978. He was the first player inducted whose playing career was principally in the AFL. Alworth is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.

Charlie Joiner

Charles B. Joiner Jr. (born October 14, 1947) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons. He is best known for his career with the San Diego Chargers, with whom he spent 11 seasons. Before joining the Chargers, he played for the Houston Oilers and Cincinnati Bengals each for four seasons. He retired with the most career receptions, receiving yards, and games played of any wide receiver in NFL history. Joiner was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1996.

Wes Chandler

Wesley Sandy Chandler (born August 22, 1956) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons during the 1970s and 1980s.  He was selected to the Pro Bowl four times, and ranked twelfth in NFL history in receiving yards and thirteenth in receptions when he retired. Chandler is a member of the San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame. He played college football for the Florida Gators and was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
Playing as a receiver in a run-oriented wishbone offense at Florida, Chandler set a school record with 28 touchdowns. He was named both an All-American and an Academic All-American in 1977. He was picked third overall by the New Orleans Saints in the 1978 NFL Draft. Over an 11-year NFL career, Chandler played for the Saints, the San Diego Chargers and the San Francisco 49ers.  He holds the NFL record for most receiving yards per game in a season, set in 1982 with the Chargers.  After retiring as a player, he became a football coach, and served as the wide receivers coach for various teams at the professional and college level.

John Jefferson

John Larry Jefferson (né Washington; born February 3, 1956) is a retired American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected out of Arizona State University in the first round of the 1978 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. He played three seasons in San Diego, where he became the first NFL player to gain 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons. He was traded to the Green Bay Packers after a contract dispute with the Chargers, and later finished his playing career with the Cleveland Browns.



Vincent Jackson

Vincent Terrell Jackson (born January 14, 1983), is a former American football wide receiver who played for 12 seasons in the National Football League. He played college football at Northern Colorado, and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jackson was selected to the Pro Bowl three times and exceeded 1,000 receiving yards six times in his career.

Malcom Floyd

Malcom Floyd (born September 8, 1981) is a retired American football wide receiver. He played his entire professional career for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Wyoming.

Dontrelle Inman

Dontrelle Javaar Inman is an american football wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Virginia.

Tony Derrick Martin (born September 5, 1965), is a former professional American football player who was selected by the New York Jets in the 5th round of the 1989 NFL Draft. A 6'1", 177-lb. wide receiver from Mesa State College.



Keenan McCardell

Keenan Wayne McCardell (; born January 6, 1970) is a former American football wide receiver who played 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).  He played college football for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 12th round of the 1991 NFL Draft, and he was also a member of the Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers and Houston Texans. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, McCardell won two Super Bowl rings, with the Redskins in 1991 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. He is currently the wide receivers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.



Gary Garrison

Gary Lynn Garrison (born January 21, 1944 in Amarillo, Texas) is a former American football wide receiver who played professional football in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL).  He attended San Diego State University from 1964–1965.  His 26 touchdown receptions are still a career school record.
He began his pro football career with the San Diego Chargers and played 11 seasons (1966–1976) for them in the AFL and NFL, as well as one year (1977) with the Houston Oilers. He was a four-time Pro Bowler, including a year as AFL All-Star with the Chargers in 1968.

Eddie Royal

William Edward "Eddie" Royal (born May 21, 1986) is a former American football wide receiver and return specialist . He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Virginia Tech. Royal has also played for the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears.

Vincent Brown

Vincent Brown Jr. (born January 25, 1989) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at San Diego State University, and was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

Chris Chambers

Christopher J. Chambers  (born August 12, 1978) is a former American football wide receiver who played ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL).  He played college football for the University of Wisconsin.  He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft, and also played for the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Curtis Conway

Curtis Lamont Conway (born January 13, 1971) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 1993 NFL Draft out of the University of Southern California  (USC). Conway also played for the San Diego Chargers, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers.

Eric Parker

Eric Samuel Parker (born April 14, 1979) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2002. He played college football at Tennessee.
Parker spent the first six seasons of his career with the San Diego Chargers.

Lionel James

Lionel "Little Train" James (born May 25, 1962) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the 5th round of the 1984 NFL Draft. Undersized at 5 feet 6 inches (1.68 m) and 171 pounds (78 kg), James played running back at Auburn University where he shared the backfield with Bo Jackson. James would be a part of the 1983 SEC Champion and Sugar Bowl champion team. He spent his entire 5-year NFL career with the Chargers from 1984-1988. His best year as a pro came during the 1985 season when he set the then-NFL season records for receiving yards by a running back and all-purpose yardage. He also led the AFC in receptions that year.
In 1985, James set the NFL record for all purpose yards in a season with 2,535 yards. He also set the record for receiving yards by a running back with 1,027 yards, while also leading the AFC in receptions with 86. On November 10, 1985, he had his best day as a pro versus the Los Angeles Raiders. He gained 345 all-purpose yards including a career best 168 yards receiving and scored the winning touchdown in a 40–34 overtime victory. The total yardage was second at the time only to the 373 yards by Billy Cannon in 1961, and remains a Chargers franchise record. He might have broken the record in an earlier game that season against the Cincinnati Bengals except for a Chargers penalty that cost him 89 yards of a 100-yard kickoff return. James finished that game with 316 yards.James record for receiving yards by a running back was broken by Marshall Faulk (1,048) in 1999, and his all purpose yardage record was eclipsed in 2000 by Derrick Mason (2,690 yards).

Chuck Dicus

Charles Wayne Dicus (born October 2, 1948) is a former American football wide receiver and a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. Dicus played college football at the University of Arkansas and professionally two seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the San Diego Chargers. He later served as president of the Razorback Foundation, the private organization that raises funds for school athletic endeavors, for 17 years.

Jerry LeVias

Jerry LeVias (born 5 September 1946) is a former American football player.  He played college football at Southern Methodist University (SMU).  He played professionally in the American Football League (AFL) with the Houston Oilers and in National Football League (NFL) with the Oilers and the San Diego Chargers,  LeVias was the first African-American scholarship athlete and second African-American football player in the Southwest Conference.



Nate Lewis

Nathaniel "Nate" Lewis (born October 19, 1966) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He played six seasons for the San Diego Chargers (1990–1993) and the Chicago Bears (1994–1995).
Born and raised in Moultrie, GA, Lewis attended Oregon Tech where he played one season his senior year.  Following his freshman year at a junior college: Oklahoma A&M, Lewis played at Georgia his sophomore and junior years, however he was dismissed due to academic reasons following his junior year.
His senior year at Oregon Tech was ended short due to a leg injury, but included 27 caught passes for 434 yards and two touchdowns.

Charlie Edward Jones (born December 1, 1972 in Hanford, California) is a former professional American football player who was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 4th round of the 1996 NFL Draft. A 5'8" wide receiver from Fresno State University, Jones played in 4 NFL seasons for the Chargers from 1996 to 1999.  He attended Lemoore High School.

Travis Benjamin

Travis Jammal Benjamin is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Miami and Glades Central High School in Belle Glade, Florida prior to that. The Browns drafted him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
His nickname is the "Belle Glade Blur" due to his quickness.
