List RulesVote up the best installments of the Love, Death & Robots animated series on Netflix.

With episodes between 7 and seventeen minutes long, the short, heady installments of Love, Death & Robots harken back to the 1983 Heavy Metal film and MTV's Liquid Television series. The similarity is very intentional, as this great anthology television series from Netflix is a sort of re-imagining of David Fincher and Tim Miller's long-awaited reboot of Heavy Metal - which is itself the US version of the French Métal Hurlant comic and magazine anthology series.

Some shorts are computer animated, some cel-shaded in an almost retro style, while others combine animation and live action. Each animation style is perfectly suited to the story being told as Netflix's new animated anthology serves up sci-fi and speculative shorts that run the range from horror to humor. Short and to the point, the series is very binge-able and very much made for adults. With so many styles and stories, some Love, Death & Robots installments are definitely better than the rest.

Vote up the shorts from Netflix's Love, Death & Robots that were the best balance of animation and story and vote down the shorts that weren't as wonderful.
