Queen is one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, and the men who made up the group over the years stand as some of the most singular voices and talents in the genre. You know you've taken a moment to give "Bohemian Rhapsody" a try during an especially passionate singing in the shower moment, but it quickly becomes clear you're no Freddie Mercury, who obviously tops any ol' list of the best members of Queen. But who else rocks you?
When ranking all Queen band members from best to worst, some fans go for the best singers (Freddie), while others look to the best all-around musicians, like Brian May, when voting. Some Queen fans may even rank the roster by the best songwriter.
But Freddie and Brian don't make up the full list of the best Queen members. Modern fans enjoy Adam Lambert's vocal stylings on classic Queen songs like "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Somebody to Love." Veteran drummer Roger Taylor's son, Rufus, has toured with the Queen in recent years as well, but it's not all new voices from American Idol these days. Taylor is still at it, one of two members to have played with Queen throughout the entire history of the band (the other is Brian May), and John Deacon was the band's bass guitarist for more than 25 years.
