Timothy Duane Hardaway Sr. (born September 1, 1966) is an American retired basketball player. At 6 ft (1.83 m) tall, he was best known for his crossover dribble which was dubbed the "UTEP Two-step" by television analysts.He is the father of current NBA player Tim Hardaway Jr.

Goran Dragić

Goran Dragić (born 6 May 1986) is a Slovenian professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. He played professional basketball in Slovenia and Spain before entering the NBA in 2008. Dragić has played for the Phoenix Suns twice, the Houston Rockets, and the Heat. He was an All-NBA Third Team selection and the NBA Most Improved Player with the Suns in 2014. He was named an NBA All-Star for the first time in 2018 with Miami. He led the Slovenian national team to its first EuroBasket title in 2017, while setting an all-time record for most points by a player in the final, also being named Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Mario Chalmers

Almario Vernard "Mario" Chalmers (born May 19, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He was selected with the 34th overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves after playing three seasons of college basketball for the University of Kansas, including being a part of the 2007–08 national championship team. Chalmers was named the 2006–07 Co-Defensive Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Player of the 2008 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.

Gary Payton

Gary Dwayne Payton Sr. (born July 23, 1968) is an American retired professional basketball player. He started at the point guard position. He is best known for his 13-year tenure with the Seattle SuperSonics, and holds Seattle franchise records in points, assists, and steals. He also played with the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. Payton won an NBA championship with the Heat in 2006. He was nicknamed "The Glove" for his defensive abilities. He was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on September 8, 2013.Payton is widely considered one of the best point guards of all time. He is the only point guard to win the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award. He was selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team nine times, an NBA record he shares with Michael Jordan, Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant. He was also a nine-time NBA All-Star and a nine-time All-NBA Team member.
Considered the "NBA's reigning high scorer among point guards" in his prime, Payton is referred to as "probably as complete a guard as there ever was" by Basketball Hall of Famer Gail Goodrich.

Sherman Douglas

Sherman Douglas (born September 15, 1966) is a retired American professional basketball player from Syracuse University who played for the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, New Jersey Nets and the Los Angeles Clippers from 1989 to 2001.  His nickname, The General is a play on his first name and his position as a point guard (as a floor general). He was known for revolutionizing the running "floater" shot in the lane.

Brian Shaw

Brian Keith Shaw (born March 22, 1966) is an American former professional basketball player and former head coach for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He could play both guard positions, but was used primarily at point guard over the course of his 14 seasons in the league.

Norris Cole

Norris Gene Cole II is an American professional basketball point guard who currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association. He is a two-time NBA champion, winning in 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat.

Bimbo Coles

Vernell Eufaye "Bimbo" Coles (born April 22, 1968) is a retired American basketball player. Coles was a standout at Greenbrier East High School in Lewisburg, West Virginia.  He played his college basketball for the Virginia Tech Hokies for four seasons (1986–87 to 1989–90) and was inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame.  He was a member of the United States 1988 Olympic basketball team. His NBA career started when he was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the 1990 NBA Draft, and immediately traded to the Miami Heat in exchange for veteran guard Rory Sparrow. After Coles' first of two stints with the Miami Heat, he was traded to the Golden State Warriors, and also played with the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics. He was utilized primarily as a backup point guard. He received his nickname from a cousin in reference to a country music song of the same name.

Rod Strickland

Rodney Strickland (born July 11, 1966) is an American basketball executive and retired National Basketball Association (NBA) player. He is currently the program manager for the NBA G League's professional path. Strickland played college basketball at DePaul University, where he was awarded All-American honors. He then enjoyed a long career in the NBA, playing from 1988 to 2005. Strickland was an assistant coach for the South Florida Bulls, under Orlando Antigua from 2014 to 2017.   He formerly served in an administrative role for the University of Kentucky basketball team under head coach John Calipari and was the director of basketball operations at the University of Memphis under Calipari. He is the godfather of current NBA player Kyrie Irving.

Mike Bibby

Michael Bibby (born May 13, 1978) is an American basketball coach and former player. He played professionally for 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He last served as the head coach for his alma mater, Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona.
Bibby played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats, with whom he won the 1997 NCAA Championship. He was drafted second overall by the Vancouver Grizzlies in the 1998 NBA draft. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in his first season with the Grizzlies. He also played for the Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat and New York Knicks. He is the son of former NBA player Henry Bibby.

Terry Porter

Terry Porter (born April 8, 1963) is an American college basketball coach and former player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is currently the head men's basketball coach at the University of Portland. A native of Wisconsin, he played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point before being drafted 24th by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1985 NBA draft. In Portland, he played ten seasons with two All-Star Game appearances. Porter spent 17 years in the NBA as a player. Following his retirement as a player in 2002, he began coaching in the league and has twice been a head coach, first with his hometown Milwaukee Bucks, and then with the Phoenix Suns up until February 16, 2009. He was the alumni ambassador for Portland Trail Blazers.

Carlos Arroyo

Carlos Alberto Arroyo Bermúdez (born July 30, 1979) is a Puerto Rican former professional basketball player who played for Leones de Ponce of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) until April 2019. Arroyo had previously played in the National Basketball Association with the Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, and Boston Celtics. In the 2008–09 season, he played for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Basketball Super League, winning the league's championship, and being named the Final's Most Valuable Player. He has also played professionally in Puerto Rico, Spain and Turkey.
Arroyo was a member of the senior Puerto Rican national basketball team that defeated the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games. He also represented Puerto Rico at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan.
On May 2, 2019, arroyo was picked by Trilogy to play in the Big3, a 3-on-3 basketball league founded by rapper Ice Cube.

Tyler Johnson

Tyler Ryan Johnson (born May 7, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Fresno State University. On February 26, he scored 18 points against his former team, the Miami Heat, to help the Suns snap a franchise-record 17-game losing streak to win 124–121. On April 4, 2019, Johnson was ruled out for the rest of the season after missing 10 games with right knee soreness and undergoing arthroscopic surgery.

Kevin Edwards

Kevin Durell Edwards (born October 30, 1965) is a retired American professional basketball player who currently serves as DePaul University men's basketball team's director of community, corporate, and professional relations. Edwards was selected by the Miami Heat with the 20th overall pick of the 1988 NBA draft. Edwards was the second ever draft pick in Miami Heat history, behind teammate Rony Seikaly who was selected as the 9th pick in the same draft.
He played in 11 NBA seasons for the Heat, New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic and Vancouver Grizzlies. Edwards best year as a pro came during the 1993–94 season as a member of the Nets, appearing in all 82 games and averaging 14.0 ppg. He had the most points in all of his seasons with the Nets. In his NBA career, Edwards scored a total of 6,596 points in 604 games. He retired as a member of the Grizzlies in 2001. He has a wife and three children.He played collegiately at DePaul University and Lakeland Community College (in Kirtland, Ohio).
After retiring from basketball, Edwards produced movies.

Rory Sparrow

Rory Darnell Sparrow (born June 12, 1958) is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Born in Suffolk, Virginia, Sparrow played at Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey, and was an inaugural inductee into the school's Hall of Fame.He played collegiately at Villanova University, where he scored 1183 career points, and made 495 assists.  In college, Sparrow made game-winning shots in the last ten seconds of the game on five occasions.
Sparrow, a 6'2" guard, was selected 75th overall (round 4, pick 6) of the 1980 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets. Including the Nets, he played with the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers over a 12-year career, retiring after the 1991-92 season. He scored the first field goal in Miami Heat history, when the franchise was created in 1988.

Damon Jones

Damon Darron Jones (born August 25, 1976) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who was an assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
A combo guard, he played college basketball for three years with the University of Houston Cougars before declaring early for the 1997 NBA Draft, but he went undrafted. After his playing career ended, Jones joined the Cavaliers coaching staff.

Rex Chapman

Rex Everett Chapman (born October 5, 1967) is a retired American professional basketball player.  Chapman was a college standout at the University of Kentucky and went on to play for four National Basketball Association (NBA) teams through his 12-year career in the league.  He later served as the vice president of player personnel with the Denver Nuggets.

Khalid Reeves

Khalid Reeves (born July 15, 1972) is a former American professional basketball player, selected by the Miami Heat in the first round (12th pick) of the 1994 NBA Draft.
Reeves attended  Christ The King Regional High School in Middle Village, Queens, New York, and played college basketball at the University of Arizona.

Eric Murdock

Eric Lloyd Murdock (born June 14, 1968) is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Utah Jazz in the first round (21st overall) of the 1991 NBA Draft.
Murdock grew up in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey, and played high school basketball at Bridgewater-Raritan High School West.A 6'1" point guard, Murdock then played at Providence College, and held several school records at the time of his graduation, including most career steals (376, also an NCAA record that held until 2002), most points in conference games in a season (435, also a Big East record), most points in a game (48, another Big East record) and most free throws in a season (238). His skills at PC earned him the nickname "the Man of Steal." Murdock played 9 seasons in the NBA from 1991-2000. He played for the Jazz, Milwaukee Bucks, Vancouver Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, New Jersey Nets and Los Angeles Clippers. His best year as a pro came during the 1993-94 season as a member of the Bucks, appearing in 82 games (76 starts) and averaging 15.3 ppg. In his NBA career, Murdock played in 508 games and scored a total of 5,118 points.He has also played in Italy for Teamsystem Bologna (1996–1997, reached the Italian Championship finals) and Virtus Bologna (2002–2003).On April 2, 1994, in a game against the Washington Bullets, Murdock stole the ball nine times.
On January 24, 1995, in a game against the Houston Rockets, Murdock drilled a 75-footer at the buzzer in the third quarter.
From 2010 to 2012, Murdock served as the director of basketball player development for Rutgers University, working with Rutgers coach Mike Rice. He was fired in July of 2012. After his dismissal, Murdock acted as a whistleblower by showing recordings of Rice launching homophobic slurs to players to Rutgers athletic director Tim Pernetti in late 2012, leading to the eventual firing of Rice and the resignation of Pernetti in April 2013. In 2016, Rutgers settled Murdock's wrongful termination lawsuit for $500,000.Murdock's cousin, Jason Murdock, played college basketball at Providence, as well, from 1993 to 1997.

Eddie House

Edward Lee House II (born May 14, 1978) is an American retired professional basketball player. A guard known for his three-point shooting, House played for nine NBA teams in 11 seasons in the league. He was a member of the 2008 NBA champions Boston Celtics.
