List RulesOnly country singers born or raised in Missouri.
You can't help but be impressed when you see the list of Missouri country singers. The state has seen some huge developments in America's musical history over the centuries. In particular, St. Louis has served as a major hub of musical talent for years now. The city has numerous venues that fostered various blues, jazz, and country artists. However, when it comes to country music, Branson is truly where it's at. It has become a big tourist destination. The Grand Palace in Branson can seat more than 4,000 people, and plenty of big country acts have played there at one time or another.
From Boonville is female country music star Sara Evans. She has released many studio albums since 1997 with many of her hit singles topping the country music charts, including "Born To Fly," "Suds in the Bucket," and "A Little Bit Stronger." Another popular country singer from the state is Sheryl Crow. While most people know her as a pop/rock act, she has had some country singles over the years. Most notably, she collaborated with Kid Rock on the song "Picture."
The most famous country singers from Missouri come in all shapes and sizes. Some hail from Kansas City while others were raised in Sedalia. Vote for the artists you like best.
