The school is regularly ranked in the top ten, and few opponents enjoy coming into Autzen Stadium and facing the Oregon fans. Tony Dale Galbreath  (born January 29, 1954 in Fulton, Missouri) is a former American football running back in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints, the Minnesota Vikings, and the New York Giants. He played college football at the University of Missouri and was drafted in the second round of the 1976 NFL Draft.
Galbreath was an All-Big Eight running back for the Missouri Tigers in 1974. He was elected team captain for the 1975 season and still ranks among the Tigers' all-time leading rushers, despite the fact that he played just two years of football after transferring from Indian Hill (Iowa) Junior College. 
Galbreath was a rookie in 1976 with the New Orleans Saints and was part of the "Thunder and Lightning" backfield, along with Saints' first round pick Chuck Muncie. Galbreath quickly became one of the top pass-catching running backs in the NFL. As a rookie, he was the NFL's sixth leading receiver. In 1978, his third season with the Saints, he finished second in the NFL in receiving. He played with the Saints for five seasons, and when he left the Saints, he ranked second in all-time rushing yards for the team. 
Galbreath was traded to the Minnesota Vikings in 1981. He played three years for the Vikings, primarily as a pass-catching back and blocker. Galbreath went to the New York Giants in 1984, essentially fulfilling the same role. He played four seasons with the Giants, including the 1986 season in which the Giants won the Super Bowl, as Galbreath was the team's second leading receiver. He retired after the 1987 season as the most prolific pass-catching running back in NFL history.
Galbreath was enshrined in the University of Missouri Athletics Hall of Fame in 1995. Galbreath was enshrined in the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame in 1991. In 2013, he was enshrined in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Galbreath's family resides in Fulton.

Joseph Lee Moore, Jr. is a former American football running back. He was drafted in the first round of the 1971 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears after playing college football for Missouri.

Charlie Brown

Charles Brown (born October 29, 1958) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons for the Washington Redskins (and helped win Super Bowl XVII in his rookie season) and Atlanta Falcons.  He was traded by the Redskins to the Falcons on August 26, 1985, in exchange for Pro Bowl guard R.C. Thielemann. He was nicknamed "Good ol' Charlie Brown" in reference to the eponymous comic strip character.
He played college football at South Carolina State University and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1981 NFL Draft. Brown played wide receiver and defensive back for the Washington Commandos of the Arena Football League in 1990. He was a receiver for the short-lived Washington Marauders of the Professional Spring Football League in 1992. Brown was head coach of the Savannah High Blue Jackets (Savannah,Georgia) of the Savannah Chatham County Football League.
He is currently wide receivers coach of Marlboro County High School Bulldogs varsity football team in Bennettsville, South Carolina.

Darrell Wallace

Darrell Wallace is a former Canadian Football League player.
A graduate of the University of Missouri, where he played between 1984 and 1987, he rushed for 2607 career yards, with 1120 coming in 1985 and 872 in 1986. He was inducted into the University of Missouri Athletics Hall of Fame in 1997.He signed with the British Columbia Lions of the CFL in 1989 and had a great rookie season, being second in the league in total offensive yardage. He led the team with a new club record of 1225 kickoff return yards, added a team high 780 punt return yards, and had a season high 189 yards rushing versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders on August 24, 1989. All of this won him the Jackie Parker Trophy as West Division rookie of the year.Wallace played parts of the 1990 season with the Lions and the Calgary Stampeders. He was signed by the Detroit Lions of the National Football League and spent 1991 and 1992 on their practice squad. He returned to the CFL to play for the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 1993 to 1994 and the Birmingham Barracudas in 1995.

Curtis Jerome Brown (December 7, 1954 – July 31, 2015) was an American football running back with the Buffalo Bills and Houston Oilers in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Missouri.
Brown died July 30, 2015 from a heart attack; he experienced dementia in his later years believed to stem from his playing days.
