This is a list of all the NBA starting power forwards in 2013. The power forward, also known as the post position because of their similarity to the center as well as key low blocking, are key with offensive styled defense as well as grabbing the rebounds. This list includes such power forwards as Kevin Garnett, Tristan Thompson, Dirk Nowitzki, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, and LaMarcus Aldridge. All of these players have been key in zone defense as well as scoring points.

How do the power forwards of 2013 compare to the power forwards of all time? Do these current power forwards rank well, or fall miserably? Would Charles Barkley and Dennis Rodman laugh in the face of the current power forward play style? Or would the opposite happen? Could contemporary power forward strategy compete with the game of yesteryear basketball? Does power forward height matter as much as any of the other positions?

Certain power forwards supplement their skills with an added propensity for the three pointers. These players include Kevin Love, Ersan Ilyasova, Ryan Anderson, and Kevin Garnett among others. But all power forward statistics aside, who is your favorite power forward? Who are the top power forwards of 2013? Let your opinion be heard, vote below and let all your NBA fantasy cohorts know about it too!
