List Rules Only Netflix original films distributed in the US.

As every year comes and goes, we get a plethora of new Netflix original movies—and 2018 didn't disappoint. Though Netflix only started getting into the movie game a few years prior, they've been releasing some serious gems we can all enjoy. Better yet, these original movies are available to subscribers the moment they drop, so we can enjoy brand new flicks from the comfort of our couches. All that aside, it's time to determine just which 2018 Netflix original movies were the best.

Among the long list of 2018 Netflix original films, Mute and The Cloverfield Paradox are two such movies you'll definitely want to check out. The former is an exciting sci-fi film following a mute bartender as he fights a series of gangsters to find his partner, while The Cloverfield Paradox takes an intense trip through space as the third installment of the Cloverfield movies. Of course, these are just two of many great films from Netflix. Others to consider checking out include Irreplaceable You, The Outsider, Paradox, and more. Don't forget to check out some of the great original comedies from Netflix, either.

If you're in need of some new movie suggestions, check out the list below and get watching. Be sure to vote up your favorites to ultimately determine which were the best Netflix original movies of 2018.
