Starting back in 1959, the Best New Artist Grammy has been handed to top bands and artists who've made their way to stardom—as well as to ears around the world. Though topping the Billboard charts or having the most streamed song on Spotify are both great accomplishments, among plenty of other sought after achievements, the Best New Artist award is quite prestigious.
