As LGBT representation continues to be on the rise in media, many new television series feature prominent lesbian, gay, or bisexual characters. Since 2015, tons of successful shows have emerged that feature non-heterosexual characters. Whether side characters or part of the core cast, you can vote on some of the best new shows with gay characters on the list below. 

What are the best new shows with gay characters? Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt features the breakout character Titus Andromedon, whose relationship drama and quest for stardom provides inordinate laughs. Jessica Jones has received critical acclaim for its portrayal of lesbian characters. Westworld features several gay characters, including Logan, Clementine Pennyfeather, and Elsie Hughes.
