The best New York Giants kickers ever have all had a part in some of the biggest moments in franchise history. NFL games can be won and lost by one or two points, making every made or missed kick of the greatest importance and every starting kicker a potential hero.

Lawrence Tynes

Lawrence James Henry Tynes (born May 3, 1978) is a Scottish-born former American football placekicker. After playing soccer for Milton High School a coach suggested he try out for the football team as a kicker. He played college football at Troy and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2001. After four seasons in Kansas City, he was traded to the Giants in 2007. In his first season with the Giants, he kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime against the Green Bay Packers in the 2007–08 NFC Championship Game, which qualified the Giants for Super Bowl XLII. Four years later, he kicked another overtime field goal against the San Francisco 49ers in the 2011–12 NFC Championship Game, which qualified the Giants for Super Bowl XLVI. He has experienced his best success in New York, winning two Super Bowl championships in 2007 and 2011, winning against the New England Patriots in both games.
Tynes is the only player in NFL history to have two overtime game-winning field goals in the playoffs. Tynes kicked the longest post-season field goal in Lambeau Field post-season history (47 yards) in the 2007 NFC Championship Game. He then kicked a 31-yard field goal in overtime in the NFC Championship game to advance the New York Giants to Super Bowl XLVI in 2011.

Pete Gogolak

Peter Kornel Gogolak (English: ; Hungarian: Gogolák Péter Kornél; born April 18, 1942) is a former American football placekicker in the American Football League (AFL) for the Buffalo Bills and in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants.Gogolak is widely considered the chief figure behind the game's adoption of soccer style placekicking. In 1966, after playing two seasons for the AFL's Bills, he joined the NFL's Giants in May after playing out his option, sparking the "war between the leagues" and effectively expediting the subsequent AFL–NFL merger agreement in June. He is distinguished as being the first Hungarian to play in the National Football League.
In 2010, the New York Giants announced that Gogolak would be included in the team's new Ring of Honor to be displayed at all home games in their new stadium.

Raul Allegre

Raúl Enrique Allegre Rodríguez (born June 15, 1959) is a former Mexican football placekicker in the National Football League for the Baltimore Colts, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, and New York Jets. He played college football at the University of Texas.

Pat Summerall

George Allen "Pat" Summerall (May 10, 1930 – April 16, 2013) was an American football player and television sportscaster who worked for CBS, Fox, and ESPN. In addition to football, he also announced major golf and tennis events. In total, he announced 16 Super Bowls on network television (more than any other announcer), 26 Masters Tournaments, and 21 US Opens. He also contributed to 10 Super Bowl broadcasts on CBS Radio as a pregame host or analyst.
Summerall played football for the Arkansas Razorbacks and then in the National Football League (NFL) from 1952 through 1961. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions and played with Bobby Layne. The best playing time in his career was with the New York Giants as a kicker. After retiring as a player, he joined CBS as a color commentator the next year. He worked with Tom Brookshier and then John Madden on NFL telecasts for CBS and Fox. Although retired since 2002, he continued to announce games on occasion, especially those near his Texas home.
He was named the National Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association in 1977, and inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1994. That year, he also received the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the American Sportscasters Association Hall of Fame in 1999. The "Pat Summerall Award" has been presented since 2006 during Super Bowl weekend at the NFL's headquarters hotel "to a deserving recipient who through their career has demonstrated the character, integrity and leadership both on and off the job that the name Pat Summerall represents."

Matt Bahr

Matthew David Bahr (born July 6, 1956) is a former professional American football placekicker in the National Football League, and professional soccer player in the North American Soccer League. He attended Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pennsylvania where he excelled in both football and soccer.  He is the son of National Soccer Hall of Fame inductee Walter Bahr, and is the brother of NFL kicker Chris Bahr.

Morten Andersen

Morten Andersen (born August 19, 1960), nicknamed the "Great Dane", is a Danish-American former American football kicker and All-American at Michigan State University. He is the all-time leader in games played in the NFL, with 382. He formerly held both the NFL records for field goals and points scored, both records were broken by Adam Vinatieri in 2018. At retirement, Andersen was the all-time leading scorer for two different rival teams; the New Orleans Saints, with whom he spent 13 seasons, and the Atlanta Falcons, with whom he spent a combined eight seasons.
He retired in 2008, after not playing for a team that season. Andersen was announced as a member of the 2017 induction class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame at that year's NFL Honors. He is only the second exclusive placekicker inducted in the Hall of Fame, and the first since Jan Stenerud in 1991.

Ben Agajanian

Benjamin James "The Toeless Wonder" Agajanian (August 28, 1919 – February 8, 2018) was an American football player, primarily a placekicker in the National Football League, the All-America Football Conference and American Football League.
Born in Santa Ana, California, he graduated from San Pedro High School in the San Pedro community in Los Angeles. A placekicker, he played college football at Compton Junior College and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II as a physical training instructor.Agajanian played professionally in the National Football League from 1945 through 1959, then in the newly formed American Football League for the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers in 1960, 1961, and 1964.  He also played for the Dallas Texans in 1961 and the Oakland Raiders in 1962.  He is one of two players (the other was Hardy Brown) who played in the All-America Football Conference, the American Football League, and the National Football League.While playing in college, Agajanian had four toes of his kicking foot crushed in a work accident and then amputated in 1939, but overcame the injury to become pro football's second kicking specialist (after Mose Kelsch), booting field goals for 10 different professional teams in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, including two NFL champions: the New York Giants in  1956 and the Green Bay Packers in 1961.  After retiring from the field at age 45, he was the Dallas Cowboys kicking coach for 20 years.
Agajanian died in Cathedral City, California on February 8, 2018 at age 98. His older brother was the late Motorsports promoter J.C. Agajanian.



Ali Haji-Sheikh

Ali S. Haji-Sheikh (born January 11, 1961) is a former American football kicker. He played college football at Michigan. He was drafted in the ninth round (237th overall) in the 1983 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins.
While at Michigan, Haji-Sheikh set a Big Ten record with 78 consecutive extra points, and he broke the NFL record for the most field goals in a season, as a rookie during the 1983 NFL season.



Brad Daluiso

Bradley William Daluiso (born December 31, 1967 in San Diego, California). Brad played soccer for two years at Valhalla High School in El Cajon, CA. He is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League.  He played twelve seasons, the majority of them with the New York Giants. In addition, he played for the Atlanta Falcons, the Buffalo Bills, the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders.  Daluiso appeared in Super Bowl XXVI for the Buffalo Bills and in Super Bowl XXXV for the New York Giants.  He retired after the 2001 season.  Daluiso played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles and Grossmont College, El Cajon, California. Brad was on the "Late Show with David Letterman" in 1997 (Episode #5.62). He is a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.

Joe Danelo

Joseph Peter Danelo (born September 2, 1953) is a former American football placekicker who played in the National Football League for ten seasons  with the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, and Buffalo Bills.
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Danelo graduated from Gonzaga Prep in 1971. He played college football at Washington State University in Pullman under head coach Jim Sweeney, and was selected in the tenth round of the 1975 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins.

Steven Matt Bryant (born May 29, 1975), nicknamed "Money Matt", is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He played college football at Baylor, and was signed as an unrestricted free agent by the AFL's  Iowa Barnstormers in 2000. Bryant is best known for his 10 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL), with whom he made a Pro Bowl. He has also been a member of the New York Giants, Frankfurt Galaxy, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Florida Tuskers, and is the eighth most-accurate kicker in NFL history.



Robbie Gould

Robert Paul Gould III (; born December 6, 1982) is an American football placekicker for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played with the Chicago Bears from 2005 to 2015, during which he became the franchise's all-time leading scorer. Gould was originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He played college football at Penn State. Gould is the second most accurate kicker in NFL history, only behind Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens.

Aldrick Rosas (born December 30, 1994) is an American football placekicker who currently plays for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected to the Pro Bowl for the 2018 NFL season.

Josh Brown

Joshua Clell Brown (born April 29, 1979) is a former American football placekicker. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska.
Brown also played for the St. Louis Rams, Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants.
Brown was released by the Giants on October 25, 2016, after it was made public that he had admitted to an abusive relationship with his wife.

John Carney

John Michael Carney (born April 20, 1964) is a retired American football placekicker.  He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 1987. He played college football at Notre Dame.
Carney was also a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, and New York Giants. He was a Pro Bowl selection with the Chargers in 1994 and with the Giants in 2008.  When he was released from the Saints' active roster in December 2009, Carney was third on the NFL career scoring list with a career total of 2,044 points. He was the last remaining player from the 1980s still active in professional football.  He has also worked as a kicking consultant for the Saints.

Brett Conway

Brett Alan Conway (born March 8, 1975 in Atlanta) is a former professional American football player.  He was a placekicker for seven seasons with various teams in the National Football League.  He was drafted in the third round (#90 overall) by the Green Bay Packers in the 1997 NFL Draft.  Conway played college football at Penn State, where his 276 career points rank him second all-time, and his 119 consecutive extra points are a school record.
He kicked in four bowl games: Citrus, Rose, Outback, and Fiesta.

Randy Bullock

Randy Bullock (born December 16, 1989) is an American football placekicker for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M, and was recognized as the nation's best college football kicker and a consensus All-American. He was selected by the Houston Texans in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, after winning college football's Lou Groza Award. Bullock is currently the 29th most accurate placekicker in NFL history.

David Treadwell

David Mark Treadwell (born February 27, 1965 in Columbia, South Carolina) is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos (1989-1992) and the New York Giants (1993-1994).  He played college football for the Clemson Tigers from 1984 to 1987, where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 1989 season.
After retiring from the NFL, Treadwell attended law school at the University of Denver and participated in the campaign to pass a ballot measure to fund the replacement for Mile High Stadium which ultimately became known as Invesco Field at Mile High.  That led to a new career in the media.  He became a sports talk show host at Denver-based Clear Channel corporation stations KOA and KTLK before moving to Denver's KDVR-TV (Fox 31) as sports director and anchor from 2000 to 2004.  He reportedly left the station to "pursue business interests in a land development company."  He now works for Biltmore Development and is chairman of the board of directors of the St. Anthony North Health Foundation, affiliated with St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, Co., a suburb just north of Denver.
