In 1976 the last pick in the NFL draft became known as Mr. Irrelevant. Most vanished into football obscurity. Some surprised...
  • The 333rd pick of the 1978 draft belonged to the Dolphins. They cut Kenney but he went on to become the Kansas City Chiefs' starting quarterback. After a decent NFL career he went into politics. In 2001, Bill Kenney became the majority floor leader of the Missouri Senate.

  • Elliott was chosen by the Washington Redskins with the 336th (and final) selection in the 1992 NFL Draft, giving him the designation of Mr. Irrelevant. Despite that moniker, Elliott played 16 games for the Redskins as a rookie in 1992. A knee injury forced him to miss the 1993 season and he was cut during training camp in 1994.

In 1995 he signed with the Carolina Panthers and started 32 games for the team in three seasons.

    David Vobora

On November 30, 2008, Vobora made his first career start at linebacker in the game against the Miami Dolphins. This was the first time a Mr. Irrelevant started in a game during his rookie season in 14 years, not since Marty Moore started four games for the New England Patriots in 1994. Vobora compiled five total tackles in the game, which tied for the second-best effort in team tackles, but the Rams lost 16–12. He played 3 years with the Rams before a brief stint with Seattle.
