The college teammates won the NCAA tournament together in 1982 and both went on to storied NBA careers. Over the years UNC Tar Heels basketball players like Tyler Hansborough, Sean May, Ty Lawson, Vince Carter, and Jerry Stackhouse all put their stamp on Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In 2022, Caleb Love and Armando Bacot led the Tar Heels to the NCAA championship, finishing runners-up.
