Here are the best artists and bands from Oklahoma. The South Central state represents the very best of American virtues with hard-working people helping the country run efficiently. It is this ethic that has caused numerous notable artists to make songs about Oklahoma over the years. Numerous influential musical acts have come out of the state for the last 100 years. Some of the most famous musical artists from Oklahoma include Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, and Toby Keith. A lot of country acts got their start in Oklahoma, but the state is not limited to just that genre. The All-American Rejects and The Flaming Lips both formed in the Sooner State.
