List RulesOnly artists born or raised in Oklahoma or bands formed in Oklahoma.

Here are the best artists and bands from Oklahoma. The South Central state represents the very best of American virtues with hard-working people helping the country run efficiently. It is this ethic that has caused numerous notable artists to make songs about Oklahoma over the years. Look no further than "Does That Wind Still Blow In Oklahoma" or "Oklahoma Hills" to understand all the great things that make up this state.

Numerous influential musical acts have come out of the state for the last 100 years. Some of the most famous musical artists from Oklahoma include Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, and Toby Keith. A lot of country acts got their start in Oklahoma, but the state is not limited to just that genre. The All-American Rejects and The Flaming Lips both formed in the Sooner State. One thing is certain: you can have a lot of success if you grew up in this beautiful state. Other popular Oklahoma artists include Carrie Underwood, Kings of Leon, Hanson, Chet Baker, and Ryan Tedder.

The most famous Oklahoma musical artists are listed below. Some of these musicians are still cranking out hits to this day while others have hung up the guitar long ago. Which ones do you still find yourself tuning into the most? Vote for your favorite singers and bands so that everyone else knows which artist they should check out next.
