Steven Adams

Steven Funaki Adams (born 20 July 1993) is a New Zealand professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After playing one season with his hometown team Wellington Saints in 2011, Adams moved to the United States in 2012 to play college basketball for Pitt. In June 2013, he was selected by the Thunder with the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft.

Jack Sikma

Jack Wayne Sikma (born November 14, 1955) is an American retired basketball center. He was a seven-time NBA All-Star with the Seattle SuperSonics, who drafted him in the first round with the eighth overall pick of the 1977 NBA draft. In 1979, he won an NBA championship with Seattle. Sikma finished his playing career with the Milwaukee Bucks. He was elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. 
He was known for his distinctive curly, blond hair along with his trademark step back behind the head jumper during his playing days. During his thirteen-year career, he reached the playoffs eleven times and anomalously established himself as accurate-shooting center. His style of play would become significantly influential for centers at both the amateur and professional levels. Sikma scored 17,287 points in his NBA career.

Patrick Ewing

Patrick Aloysius Ewing (born August 5, 1962) is a Jamaican-American retired Hall of Fame basketball player and current head coach of the Georgetown University men's basketball team. He played most of his career as the starting center of the NBA's New York Knicks and also played briefly with the Seattle SuperSonics and Orlando Magic.
Ewing played center for Georgetown for four years—where he played in the NCAA Championship Game three times—and was named as the 16th greatest college player of all time by ESPN. He had an eighteen-year NBA career, predominantly playing for the New York Knicks, where he was an eleven-time all-star and named to seven All-NBA teams. The Knicks appeared in the NBA Finals twice (1994 & 1999) during his tenure. He won Olympic gold medals as a member of the 1984 and 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball teams. In a 1996 poll celebrating the 50th anniversary of the NBA, Ewing was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. He is a two-time inductee into the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts (in 2008 for his individual career, and in 2010 as a member of the 1992 Olympic team). Additionally he was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame as a member of the "Dream Team" in 2009.  His number 33 was retired by the Knicks in 2003.

Kendrick Perkins

Kendrick Le'Dale Perkins (born November 10, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He entered the NBA straight out of high school and played for the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans.

Michael Cage

Michael Jerome Cage (born January 28, 1962) is an American former NBA basketball player and current broadcast analyst for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
A 6'9" power forward/center from San Diego State, he is the Aztecs' all-time rebounding leader and second leading scorer as of 2011. Cage was the 14th pick of the 1984 NBA draft.  He played 15 NBA seasons (1984–2000) with five teams: the Los Angeles Clippers, the Seattle SuperSonics, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Nets.
One highlight of his career was in 1988 when, as a member of the Clippers, he led the league in rebounding with 13.0 per game. He was on a personal duel with Charles Oakley, who was playing with the Chicago Bulls at the time. Cage needed to register 28 rebounds in his final game to beat out Oakley for the rebounding title. He ended up grabbing 30.During his career, Cage earned the nicknames "John Shaft" and "Windexman" (as in "cleaning the glass") for his rebounding prowess and hard work on defense.
He holds career averages of 7.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
Cage held the record for most career 3-point attempts without a make (0-25) until Zaza Pachulia reached 0-26 for his career during the 2017-2018 season.
Cage and his wife Jodi have three children: Alexis, Michael, Jr. and Sydney. As a retired player, he enjoys officiating soccer games and watching his own kids play. Additionally, he enjoys playing pick-up basketball at his local Merage Jewish Community Center in Newport Coast, California. He also has recently been inducted into the Arkansas hall of fame. His oldest daughter, Alexis, is an outside hitter for the San Diego State volleyball team.
On September 17, 2014, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced Cage would be joining their broadcast team, replacing analyst Grant Long.

Bob Rule

Bobby Frank Rule (born June 29, 1944) is a retired American basketball player at center for the National Basketball Association's Seattle SuperSonics, Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and briefly, the Milwaukee Bucks.Earlier in his college career, Rule played under the legendary Jerry Tarkanian, then head coach at Riverside Community College, as a member of two state championship teams. A second round pick in the 1967 NBA draft, Rule quickly became one of the stars of Seattle's expansion franchise.  Named to the 1967–68 NBA All-Rookie Team, Rule's 18.1 points per game average stood as the SuperSonics rookie record for forty seasons, until broken by Kevin Durant.  His rebounding average of 9.5 is the second best ever by a SuperSonics rookie, behind only Pete Cross's 12.0 in the 1970–71 season.  Also during his rookie season, Rule scored 47 points in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers — still a SuperSonics rookie record.
Rule's game grew stronger during the next two seasons.  In the 1968–69 season, he averaged 24.0 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game.  In the 1969–70 season, he averaged 24.6 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game, set a then-SuperSonics record of 49 points in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers, and played in the 1970 NBA All-Star Game. In the 1970–71 season, Rule began the season averaging 29.8 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game in his first four games before going down with a season-ending torn achilles tendon. He never regained his All-Star form after his scoring fell to 15.1 PPG the following season and saw limited playing time thereafter. By 1974 his career was over.

Nick Collison

Nicholas John Collison (born October 26, 1980) is an American former professional basketball player who played his entire 15-year career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder franchise. He was drafted by the SuperSonics in the first round of the 2003 NBA draft and retired as a member of the Thunder in 2018. As a college player, Collison went to two Final Fours with the Kansas Jayhawks.

Horace Grant

Horace Junior Grant (born July 4, 1965) is an American retired basketball player. He attended and played college basketball at Clemson University before playing professionally in the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he became a four-time champion with the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.  Horace is the twin brother of former NBA player Harvey Grant.

James Lee Donaldson III (born August 16, 1957) is a retired professional English-American basketball player who grew up in California and played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association and several leagues across Europe. Born in Heacham, England, Donaldson played high school basketball for Luther Burbank High School before enrolling at Washington State University to play for the Cougars.

Enes Kanter Freedom

Enes Kanter Freedom (born Enes Kanter; May 20, 1992) is a Swiss-born American professional basketball player of Turkish descent who most recently played for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected as the third overall pick of the 2011 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz. A center, Kanter has played for five NBA teams since entering the league in 2011. He has represented the Turkish national team in international play.

Benoit Benjamin

Lenard Benoit Benjamin [be-NOYT] (; born November 22, 1964) is an American retired professional basketball player who was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1st round (3rd overall) of the 1985 NBA Draft. A 7'0" center from Creighton University, Benjamin played for nine NBA teams in 15 seasons from 1985-2000. He played for the Clippers (1985–91), Seattle SuperSonics (1991–93), Los Angeles Lakers (1993, 1999 preseason), New Jersey Nets (1993–95), Vancouver Grizzlies (1995), Milwaukee Bucks (1995–96), Toronto Raptors (1996), Philadelphia 76ers (1998–99) and Cleveland Cavaliers (1999).Benjamin's best year as a professional came during the 1988–89 NBA season as a member of the Clippers, appearing in 79 games and averaging 16.4 ppg. In his NBA career, he had a .541 field goal percentage, recorded 4,604 defensive rebounds and 1,581 blocks and averaged 11.4 points and 2.0 blocks per game. Benjamin also played briefly in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) in the latter part of his career. In 8 games over two seasons with the Yakima Sun Kings and Grand Rapids Hoops, he averaged 10.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per contest.He is the Clippers' career leader in blocked shots (1,117) and in blocked shots per game (2.75).

Alton Lister

Alton Lavelle Lister (born October 1, 1958) is an American retired professional basketball player. He is currently serving as an assistant coach for TNT Katropa in Philippine Basketball Association.
Lister graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School (Dallas, Texas) (in the Lakewood section of Dallas) in 1976, where he led the Wildcats to many victories and was an All-American and All-State team member. He was inducted into Woodrow's Hall of Fame in 1990.

Zaid Abdul-Aziz

Zaid Abdul-Aziz (born Donald A. Smith on April 7, 1946) is a retired American professional basketball player.  Donald Smith changed his name to Zaid Abdul-Aziz in 1976 after he converted to Islam. The 6'9" Abdul-Aziz starred at Iowa State University before being drafted by the NBA's Cincinnati Royals in 1968. He played ten seasons in the league as a member of the Royals, Milwaukee Bucks, Seattle SuperSonics, Houston Rockets, Buffalo Braves, and Boston Celtics.  Nicknamed "The Kangaroo", he had his finest season in 1971–1972, when he averaged 13.8 points and 11.3 rebounds for Seattle. He retired in 1978 with career totals of 4,557 points and 4,065 rebounds.
In 2006, Zaid Abdul-Aziz published a memoir, Darkness to Sunlight, which tells the stories of his basketball career, personal challenges, and spiritual journey.  Abdul-Aziz is now a drug and alcohol counselor in Seattle.

Tom Burleson

Tommy Burleson

Tom Loren Burleson (born February 24, 1952) is an American former professional basketball player.  A 7′2″ center, Burleson played for North Carolina State University's 1974 NCAA national championship team.
As a collegian, Burleson teamed with All-American David Thompson, guard Monte Towe and forward Tim Stoddard (who would go on to have success as a Major League Baseball pitcher) to dethrone UCLA and win the 1974 NCAA Championship.  Burleson was the MVP of the 1973 and 1974 ACC Tournaments and was All-Final Four in 1974.  Burleson's defense of UCLA superstar Bill Walton was key to the Wolfpack's semifinal win. He was a member of the 1973 World University Games Gold Medal basketball team.
When Burleson was recruited he was officially measured at 7 ft 2 in (2.18 m) tall, but the coaching staff at North Carolina State decided to list him at 7 ft 4 in (2.24 m).  Burleson wanted to be listed at his actual height but the coaching staff said he would officially be the tallest player in American basketball and it would bring a lot of good exposure to him and the school.Burleson was also a member of the 1972 U.S. Olympic Basketball Team that lost a controversial gold medal game to the Soviet Union. The entire 1972 Olympic Basketball team believed they had been cheated and voted unanimously to not accept the silver.
Drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics as the third overall player in the 1974 NBA Draft, Burleson entered the league tied with Artis Gilmore and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the tallest active NBA player at 7 feet 2 inches. Named to the 1974–75 NBA All-Rookie Team. Playing under coach Bill Russell, Burleson recorded strong playoff performances in both 1975 and 1976 for Seattle. For his playoff career, Burleson averaged 20.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game in 15 career playoff games. His second season as a professional proved to be his best, as he averaged 15.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game. Just as he began to come into his own in the NBA, he was injured breaking up a fight between his teammate and an opposing team member. The injury was instrumental in his steady decline over the next several years.
Burleson was known throughout his amateur and pro career as a good shot blocker. He played seven seasons in the NBA with Seattle, the Kansas City Kings and the Atlanta Hawks. He currently lives in Avery County, North Carolina with his wife Denise. They have three sons: Robert, David, and Quentin. He is an avid supporter of North Carolina State University.
In 2002, Burleson was named to the ACC 50th Anniversary men's basketball team honoring the fifty greatest players in Atlantic Coast Conference history.

Marvin Webster

Marvin Nathaniel Webster (April 13, 1952 – April 4, 2009) was an American professional basketball player. He played one season in the American Basketball Association (ABA) and nine in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Denver Nuggets (1975–77), Seattle SuperSonics (1977–78), New York Knickerbockers (1978–84) and Milwaukee Bucks (1986–87).

Nenad Krstić

Nenad Krstić (born July 25, 1983) is a Serbian basketball executive and former professional player. He currently serves as the vice president of the Basketball Federation of Serbia, in charge of the men's basketball. Krstić represented and captained the Serbian national basketball team internationally. Standing at 2.12 m (7 ft 0 in), he played the center position. Krstić was an NBA All-Rookie Second Team member in 2005 and a two-time All-Euroleague First Team selection in 2012 and 2013.

Dorie Murrey

Dorie S. Murrey (born September 7, 1943) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was a 6'8" (2.03 m) 215 lb (97½ kg) forward and he played collegiately at the University of Detroit Mercy. He has played in the NBA from 1966 to 1972. He was originally selected with the second pick in the 2nd round of the 1966 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons. He was taken in two expansion drafts. In 1967 he was made available by the Pistons to be selected by the Seattle SuperSonics, and in 1970 he was made available by the Sonics to be selected by the Portland Trail Blazers. He was traded 3 games into the 1970–71 season, on October 10, 1970, by the Trail Blazers to the Baltimore Bullets in exchange for a 1971 2nd round draft choice (Rick Fisher). During his six-year NBA career Murrey averaged 4.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 357 career games.

Kurt Thomas

Kurt Vincent Thomas (born October 4, 1972) is an American retired professional basketball player. Thomas is a 6'9", 230 lb. power forward-center known for his hard-nosed playing style and tough defense during his eight year tenure with the New York Knicks. Drafted by the Miami Heat in 1995, Thomas played college basketball at Texas Christian University.

Maurice Lucas

Maurice Lucas (February 18, 1952 – October 31, 2010) was an American professional basketball player. The first two years of his postcollegiate career were spent in the American Basketball Association (ABA) with the Spirits of St. Louis and Kentucky Colonels. He then played twelve seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Portland Trail Blazers, New Jersey Nets, New York Knickerbockers, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers and Seattle SuperSonics. The starting power forward on the Trail Blazers' 1976–77 NBA Championship team, he was nicknamed The Enforcer because of his primary role on the court which was best exemplified in Game 2 of the NBA Finals that season.
