If you don't love Fran Drescher's character (Fran Fine) on The Nanny, you probably don't like good TV or killer outfits. The nostalgic series ran new episodes from 1993 to 1999, and featured daring '90s trends, from copious cheetah print to skin-tight skirts, most normal nannies would never wear around their charges. But as viewers know, Nanny Fran hardly considers herself normal.
Fran breaks the rules, commiserates with the children, and eventually falls in love with her employer, Maxwell Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy). While it's not exactly clear how she affords many of her more extravagant outfits, Fran knows how to pick them.
Today, an entire Instagram account helps to immortalize the Nanny's status as a style visionary - by showing exactly what Fran wore back in the day.
