Gotta catch 'em all? Start playing 'em all with the best Pokémon games of all time, starting back in 1995 when the ever-popular franchise was just getting going. In the time since, there's been many a new Pokémon game—from the classic Gameboy Pokémon battle games to the PC trading games. In short, Pokémon has long been one of the most popular games and franchises out there, and it's shown no signs of slowing down. So of all the options on this Pokémon games list, which is your favorite?

Whether you're more interested in catching the best fighing Pokémon for battles or you simply like to sit down at the computer and make some trades, there's a long list of awesome Pokémon games. Of course, it's not all collecting Pokémon and trading cards, as we can't forget games like Pokémon Pinball. Nevertheless, it's the battle games that Pokémon players hold so close to their hearts—and there's been a lot of them. From the original Red and Blue Versions to the Sun and Moon games (including new generation 7 Pokémon), the list of Pokémon games is seemingly never ending.

While all Pokémon games are great in their own right, everyone has their favorite. Check out all the games listed below and vote up the ones you think are the best Pokémon games -- then explore our list of the best monster-battlers that aren't Pokémon.
