IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, or Wings of Prey on the PC, is a combat flight simulator video game. As with previous installments of the PC series IL-2 Sturmovik, it depicts combat aircraft from World War II, although with less focus on realistic simulation than other entries in the series. The game has a campaign mode in which players are able to fly the Allies against the Axis, and also a multiplayer mode in which they are able to select either faction. A demo of the game launched on the PSN and Xbox 360's Xbox Live on 29 July 2009.
Birds of Prey is based around the large-scale aerial combat and ground military operations of World War II. Players can participate in some of the war’s most famous battles, piloting fighters, attack aircraft and heavy bombers across a range of missions. There are six theatres of war to engage in: The Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Berlin, Sicily, Korsun and the Battle of the Bulge, representing the main airborne battles of World War II in Europe.
Birds of Prey has a new damage effects engine. Players can see real-time damage to the aircraft such as holes in the wings and trail lines during dog fights.

Birds of Steel

Birds of Steel is a combat flight simulator video game created by Gaijin Entertainment and published by Konami. It was released on March 13, 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game includes more than one hundred non-fictional planes, twenty historical missions, and hundreds of procedural missions over sixteen different locations, including Pearl Harbor and Wake Island. It has single player, four player cooperative, and online multiplayer modes.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X is a 2009 arcade flight video game developed by Ubisoft Romania and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and by Gameloft for BlackBerry PlayBook, iOS, Palm Pre, Android and Symbian^3. It was released for Xbox and PlayStation in North America on March 3, 2009, for Windows on March 17, for iOS on December 9, for BlackBerry on January 8, 2010, for Palm Pre on April 2, for Android on September 13, and for Symbian on January 16, 2011. A Wii version was announced, but was ultimately canceled. In September 2010, a sequel titled Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X 2 was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Microsoft Windows and Wii versions were released in November 2010.
The story of the game takes place during the time of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. H.A.W.X is set in the near future where private military companies have essentially replaced government-run military in many countries. The player is placed in the shoes of David Crenshaw; an elite ex-United States Air Force pilot who was recruited by one of these corporations, fighting whomever and whenever he is told to.

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII is a 2007 flight-combat video game for the personal computer, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360; developed by Ubisoft Romania; and published by Ubisoft. It was released on September 7 in Europe, September 18 in North America, and October 4 in Australasia. A sequel of Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, the game puts the player in an elite Allied squadron trying to prevent Nazi Germany from creating a weapon of mass destruction. As the player progresses, he or she will travel around the world and battle the enemy with a list of prototype fighter aircraft and upgrades. Multiplayer mode includes deathmatch, cooperative, capture-the-flag, and epic battle. A demo was released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on August 23, 2007.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X 2

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.2 is an arcade-style combat flight simulators developed by Ubisoft Romania and published by Ubisoft. The game is the sequel to Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X, released in 2009, although their storyline has very little in common. The game was announced in May 2010 and was scheduled to be released on September 3 in UK and September 7 in Europe. However, Ubisoft delayed the release date for the PC, PS3 and Wii, while the Xbox 360 was pushed back to its new September 3, 2010 release date. The PS3 version was released one week later on September 10. The PC and Wii versions of the game were released on November 12.

Apache: Air Assault is a combat flight simulator video game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was developed by Russian developer Gaijin Entertainment and published by Activision.
The game is a combat flight simulator where players may pilot several types of Apache attack helicopters. The primary goal of most missions is to stop terrorist attacks in fictional, volatile war-ravaged regions.

IL-2 Sturmovik

IL-2 Sturmovik is a 2001 World War II combat flight simulator video game and is the first installment in the IL-2 Sturmovik series. The release focused on the air battles of the Eastern Front. It was named after the Soviet Ilyushin Il-2 ground-attack fighter, which played a prominent role in this theatre and is the single most produced military aircraft design to date. Along with its sequels, IL-2 Sturmovik is considered one of the leading World War II flight simulators.

Heroes Over Europe is an arcade flying video game developed by Transmission Games and published by Ubisoft. It is the sequel to Heroes of the Pacific.
Heroes Over Europe follows three pilots - an American, a Briton, and a New Zealander - through fourteen missions during World War II. The game features over 40 World War II planes and online support for 16 players in Dogfight, Team Dogfight, Survivor, and Team Survivor game modes.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII is a flight combat video game for the PC, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. It was developed by Ubisoft Romania during the second fiscal quarter of 2006 for both the North American and European regions. The game features 46 different World War II fighter planes and allows the player or players to take part in several World War II events as a fictional squadron. Online support allows 16 players to take part in head-to-head and co-operative battles. Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII was released on March 24, 2006 in the United States and March 31, 2006 in Europe.
On August 3, 2006, Ubisoft announced that the game would also be released for the Wii as a launch title. However, it was postponed and did not make the Wii launch. It was released on Wii March 20, 2007. On August 16, 2006, Ubisoft announced that the game would also be released for the PlayStation 3 and that it will be a launch title. This version features all-new missions, a 16 players online mode and support for PS3's controller motion sensing functions.
The European Windows version is protected by StarForce. At least one published American Windows version also uses StarForce.

After Burner Climax

After Burner Climax is a 2006 arcade, combat flight video game developed by Sega AM2 and published by Sega. The game is the sequel to the popular arcade and console After Burner games. The game was first released in arcades in 2006 and was later ported to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in April 2010.
Like previous incarnations of After Burner, the "Deluxe" After Burner Climax cabinet has a servo-equipped chair; a new function is a button that locks the chair into a static upright position. Two other cabinet versions include a "Commander" version, which only tilts side to side, and the "Standard" version, which doesn't move at all. The "Deluxe" and "Commander" version cabinets also have widescreen LCD monitors, while the "Standard" has a 29" CRT.
The game was delisted from both Xbox Live and PSN on December 16, 2014.

Warhawk

Warhawk is a multiplayer third-person vehicle and flight combat video game developed by Incognito Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3. It is a remake of an aerial warfare game of the same name, which was a launch title on the original PlayStation. Apart from the similarity of controlling aircraft, the remake bears little other resemblance. It was the first PlayStation 3 game to be available both for download on the PlayStation Network and for retail on Blu-ray Disc. For the United States, Blu-ray Disc and PlayStation Network versions were released on August 28, 2007. The PlayStation Network version was released in Europe, Australia and Japan on August 30, August 31 and October 4 respectively. The Blu-ray Disc version was released in Australia and Europe on September 20 and September 21, respectively, but was not released in Japan.
Warhawk was initially intended to have both single-player and multiplayer modes, however the single-player element was canceled during development due to concerns that it was inferior to the game's multiplayer component. The game was released with five maps and four game types, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Zones and Capture the Flag.
