Ranking The Best Brick-For-Brick LEGO Games On The PS4

There's really no denying the fact that the PlayStation has seen its fair share of great LEGO games over the years. From blasting your way through the galaxy with your favorite Star Wars characters to booting up as Batman and the rest of the DC (and Marvel) crew, PS4 LEGO games run the gamut between fun and fanciful. Everyone loves building their own LEGO creations, but the best LEGO games let you take your imagination to the next level.

Based on some of your favorite properties over the last few decades, these LEGO games give you all of the brick-filled action you could ever hope for. Everyone from Darth Vader to Gandalf has gotten the LEGO treatment, and you can go through the plots of your favorite stories while collecting important LEGO pieces to become a real Master Builder. And while some of these games were released on older consoles and then ported over, there are plenty of new LEGO games to satisfy your brick-building desire.

    LEGO The Hobbit

You can play the storylines from the films An Unexpected Journey and Desolation of Smaug but with some extra humor thrown in for good measure. Each playable character comes with different capabilities. For instance, some have archery abilities while others use big hammers to move larger objects.

You can even play as Bilbo, and once you discover the Ring, you can disappear and even create invisible LEGO structures. Move from one level to the next and exchange materials so that you can gain new abilities in previous chapters to see everything the game has to offer.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The Star Wars franchise came back in a big way with 2015's The Force Awakens. However, the game does take a step backward and let you experience the Battle of Endor from Return of the Jedi. There are over 200 characters you can play as from the Star Wars universe, including Poe Dameron, Captain Phasma, and Han Solo.

You can travel from one planet to the next and freely explore places like Jakku and Starkiller Base. Plus, there's additional content that fills in some of the gaps between Episode VI and Episode VII, so you can explore a side of Star Wars LEGO PS4 games like you've never seen before.
