This is a list of the best Oakland Raiders of all time. The Silver and Black. Just Win, Baby. These are just a few of the phrases associated with what was once the most intimidating team in all off football: the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders. Sebastian Janikowski

Sebastian Paweł Janikowski (Polish pronunciation: [sɛˈbastjan janiˈkɔfskʲi]; born March 2, 1978) is a Polish-born former American football placekicker. He played college football for Florida State University, and was a two-time consensus All-America. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders 17th overall in the 2000 NFL draft, only the third time a kicker was taken in the first round. He has the nickname "Seabass". He played 19 years in the NFL with the Raiders and Seattle Seahawks. On September 12, 2011, in a Monday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos, he tied the previous NFL record for the longest field goal at 63 yards, sharing the record with Tom Dempsey, Jason Elam, Graham Gano, and David Akers. The record stood for just over two years when it was broken by Broncos kicker Matt Prater on December 8, 2013. Janikowski also holds the record for most games played with the Raiders; at the end of the 2017 season he had played 268 games with the team.

George Blanda

George Frederick Blanda (September 17, 1927 – September 27, 2010) was an American football quarterback and placekicker who played professionally in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). Blanda played 26 seasons of professional football, the most in the sport's history, and had scored more points than anyone in history at the time of his retirement. Blanda retired from pro football in 1976 as the oldest player to ever play at the age of 48. He was one of only two players to play in four different decades (John Carney, who played 1988–2010, is the other), and he holds the record for most extra points made (943) and attempted (959). During his career, he played under head coaches Bear Bryant, George Halas, and John Madden.

Jeff Jaeger

Jeff Todd Jaeger (born November 26, 1964) is a former American college and professional football player who was a placekicker in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons during the 1980s and 1990s.  Jaeger played college football for the University of Washington, and received All-American honors.  In the NFL, he played for the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders and Chicago Bears.

Chris Bahr

Chris Bahr (born February 3, 1953) is a former professional American football and soccer player. He was a placekicker in the National Football League (NFL) and played midfielder in the North American Soccer League.

Errol Mann

Errol Denis Mann (June 27, 1941 – April 11, 2013) was an American football placekicker who played in the National Football League from 1968-1978. He was a member of the Oakland Raiders' Super Bowl XI winning team.  When attempting kicks, he used the straight-on style which is now almost never used by placekickers.

Cole Ford (born December 31, 1972) is a retired American football placekicker in the National Football League.  He was born in Tucson, Arizona and is the son of AlphaGraphics founder Rodger Ford.

Greg Davis

Greg Davis (born October 29, 1965 in Rome, Georgia) is a former National Football League kicker who played for 12 seasons from 1987 - 1998 with the Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders.

Mike Mercer

Michael Mercer (born November 21, 1935) is a former American football kicker and punter who played for six teams from (1961–1970). In the American Football League, he played for the Oakland Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.  He was a member of the Chiefs' 1966 AFL Championship team that played in the first AFL-NFL World Championship Game.
Mercer's 9 yard field goal attempt was blocked by Larry "Wildman" Eisenhauer and recovered by Don Webb, with about 3 minutes left, in the Oakland Raiders 43-43 tie with the Boston Patriots on October 16, 1964. On December 22, 1963 Mercer kicked a 4th quarter 39 yard field goal to break a 49-49 tie with the Oilers and give the Raiders a 52-49 win. In that same game Mercer was 7 for 7 on extra points. Mercer led the Raiders in scoring in 1964 with 79 points, hitting 15 field goals and all 34 extra point attempts.

Ben Agajanian

Benjamin James "The Toeless Wonder" Agajanian (August 28, 1919 – February 8, 2018) was an American football player, primarily a placekicker in the National Football League, the All-America Football Conference and American Football League.
Born in Santa Ana, California, he graduated from San Pedro High School in the San Pedro community in Los Angeles. A placekicker, he played college football at Compton Junior College and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II as a physical training instructor.Agajanian played professionally in the National Football League from 1945 through 1959, then in the newly formed American Football League for the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers in 1960, 1961, and 1964.  He also played for the Dallas Texans in 1961 and the Oakland Raiders in 1962.  He is one of two players (the other was Hardy Brown) who played in the All-America Football Conference, the American Football League, and the National Football League.While playing in college, Agajanian had four toes of his kicking foot crushed in a work accident and then amputated in 1939, but overcame the injury to become pro football's second kicking specialist (after Mose Kelsch), booting field goals for 10 different professional teams in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, including two NFL champions: the New York Giants in  1956 and the Green Bay Packers in 1961.  After retiring from the field at age 45, he was the Dallas Cowboys kicking coach for 20 years.
Agajanian died in Cathedral City, California on February 8, 2018 at age 98. His older brother was the late Motorsports promoter J.C. Agajanian.

Joseph Thomas Nedney (born March 22, 1973) is a former American football placekicker. Born and raised in San Jose, California, Nedney played college football at San Jose State and signed as an undrafted player with the Miami Dolphins in 1996. He played for the 49ers from 2005 to 2010 after having played for the Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, and Tennessee Titans

Michael James Husted (born June 16, 1970) is a former American football placekicker who played in the National Football League. He played nine seasons with four teams.  His first six seasons were with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also played for the Oakland Raiders, the Washington Redskins, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He retired after the 2002 season.

Fred Steinfort

Friedrich W. "Fred" Steinfort (born November 3, 1952) is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League who played for five different teams from (1976–1983).  He played college football at Boston College.
When Steinfort won the Oakland Raiders' kicking job just before the start of the 1976 NFL season, he sent the NFL’s current all-time leading scorer, George Blanda with 2,002 points, into retirement. In 1979, when he assumed the same role with the Denver Broncos, it was Jim Turner, at that time the NFL’s third-leading scorer with 1,439 points that he displaced.

Brett Conway

Brett Alan Conway (born March 8, 1975 in Atlanta) is a former professional American football player.  He was a placekicker for seven seasons with various teams in the National Football League.  He was drafted in the third round (#90 overall) by the Green Bay Packers in the 1997 NFL Draft.  Conway played college football at Penn State, where his 276 career points rank him second all-time, and his 119 consecutive extra points are a school record.
He kicked in four bowl games: Citrus, Rose, Outback, and Fiesta.

Matthew McCrane

George Fleming

George Fleming (born February 22, 1937) was a multi-position college football player for the Washington Huskies.  Fleming was a member of AAWU champion 1959 and 1960 Washington Huskies football teams, playing in the  1960 and 1961 Rose Bowls.  He earned second team All-Coast halfback and Co-Player of the Game honors after the Huskies' win in 1960 Rose Bowl.
After football, Fleming entered a career in Washington state politics, including two years in the state House of Representatives and 20 in the Senate. For his contribution to the Rose Bowl game, he was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame on December 31, 2011.

Jim Breech

James Thomas Breech (born April 11, 1956 in Sacramento, California) is a former American football kicker in the National Football League, who played for Oakland Raiders  in 1979 and Cincinnati Bengals from 1980-1992.  Before his NFL career, Breech played for the University of California, Berkeley and Sacramento High School. Breech was notable among kickers for wearing a different size cleat on his kicking foot. He wore a smaller size 5 cleat on his right kicking foot (his normal size was 7) which he felt gave him more control and stability kicking the football.

Michael Nugent (born March 2, 1982) is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He played college football for Ohio State University, and was twice recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft, and has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and Oakland Raiders.
