At the end of an exhausting day, sometimes you just want to chill. That means breaking out your fuzzy socks and putting on a relaxing TV series that will get you there. Netflix has a ton of calming TV shows currently available online, and there's something for every personality type. Here is a list of relaxing shows streaming on Netflix that will immediately put you at ease. If you're a fan of architecture and home design, be sure to add Amazing Interiors and The World's Most Extraordinary Homes to your watch list. Maybe you fancy yourself more of a foodie. In that case, check out Chef's Table and Samurai Gourmet. If you're a fan of cute animals (let's face it, everyone is a fan of cute animals) then 72 Cutest Animals is a must-watch.
Among the best relaxing shows on Netflix is Terrace House, a fly-on-the-wall Japanese reality show in which complete strangers live in the same space. There's no drama, but that's the point. The non-intrusive style of the show makes it so easy to watch. Not to mention, it's highly addicting. So kick back, and enjoy a soothing Netflix show that will help you unwind. You deserve it.

Ah, Bob Ross. The King of Cool. His incredibly popular painting shows have run for decades. This one, The Joy of Painting, is a follow-along-at-home show that encourages you to pick up the paintbrush. But if relaxation is all you seek, then simply watching the master at work will do the trick.
In each episode, Bob tackles a different scenic landscape. Some examples include "Island in the Wilderness", "Sunset Aglow", and "Snowy Morn". All the while, he drops pearls of wisdom about art... and life.

Welcome to the reality show about a co-ed living space that has *gasp* no drama! In Terrace House, three men and three women from different walks of life move in together. Sometimes, members of the house begin dating each other. But unlike Love Island, these matters are always kept civil. It's downright refreshing how straightforward this reality show is.
The true appeal of this show is just how little happens in it. It's like playing The Sims, except you can take a backseat and watch life unfold.

From the director of the critically-acclaimed documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Chef's Table is a feast for the senses. Each episode focuses on a different chef, delving into their respective cuisines. But more importantly, the show weaves in each subject's personal philosophy about the art of cooking. And honestly, it can get pretty deep. Combined with gorgeous cinematography and mouth-watering entrees, Chef's Table is a smart, exceptionally well-made show that doesn't require too much from you, the viewer. Pour a glass of wine, and pop on an episode of Chef's Table. Doesn't matter which one — they're all good.
