Here are the greatest duos in rock music history. Rock and roll has been alive and well for decades now. However, when it comes to packing stadiums and creating songs everyone wants to sing along to, it takes more than one person to get the job done. Some bands may need a dozen people backing them up, but for these bands, they know how to create hits with just two people onstage. These are the best rock duos of all time. Some are still rocking while others are long gone, but they have all made an impact on the music scene.

One of the most well-known rock duos of all time is The White Stripes. Consisting of Jack and Meg White, this band still gets consistent radio play with their hit songs "Seven Nation Army" and "Fell in Love With a Girl." Of course, no list of famous rock duos would be complete without mentioning Tenacious D, one of the most epic bands to walk the earth. Their rock could not be contained to just albums. In 2006, they starred in the film Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny. Other popualr rock music duos include The Black Keys, Page & Plant, and Hall & Oates.

Out of all these bands, who do you think rocks the loudest? Vote for the best duos in rock music right here.
