While 2019 gave us great RPGs like Kingdom Hearts III and Pokémon Sword and Shield, new releases like the long-awaiting Final Fantasy VII remake, as well as the remastered version of Trials of Mana, which was originally released on the SNES back in 1995, are sure to offer enough replay value for old and new gamers alike.

    Nioh 2 is an action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja. A sequel to Nioh (2017), the game was released for the PlayStation 4 on March 13, 2020 and was published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment worldwide. Similar to its predecessor, Nioh 2 is an action role-playing game. Players can create their own playable character, who was a yōkai spirit. Players are equipped with a variety of weapons such as odachi and kusarigama, and earn new skills as they progress in the game.

A port of the game titled Atelier Ayesha DX for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 was released on December 25, 2019 in Japan, and on January 14, 2020 in the West along with an additional Microsoft Windows release worldwide.
