Final Fantasy VII Remake is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. The game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. Trials of Mana is a 2020 action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. It is a 3D remake of the Super Famicom title of the same name, the third game in the Mana series. The story follows six possible protagonists in their respective quests, which lead them to obtain the Mana Sword and fight a world-ending threat. Nioh 2 is an action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja. A sequel to Nioh (2017), the game was released for the PlayStation 4 on March 13, 2020 and was published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment worldwide. Similar to its predecessor, Nioh 2 is an action role-playing game. Players can create their own playable character, who was a yōkai spirit. Players are equipped with a variety of weapons such as odachi and kusarigama, and earn new skills as they progress in the game.
Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Gust Co. Ltd. The character designs are by Hidari. It is the fourteenth title in the Atelier series, coming after Atelier Meruru, but has a storyline independent from previous titles in the series. The game is the first installment in the Dusk storyline. A port of the game titled Atelier Ayesha DX for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 was released on December 25, 2019 in Japan, and on January 14, 2020 in the West along with an additional Microsoft Windows release worldwide.
