It's time to vote for the best Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark quotes. This is one of the hottest horror titles of 2019, thanks to an impressive pedigree. The movie is based on the popular young adult novels by Alvin Schwartz. It was produced by Oscar-winner Guillermo del Toro, of Hellboy and The Shape of Water fame. The director is Andre Ovredal, who made the acclaimed chillers Trollhunter and The Autopsy of Jane Doe. There are plenty of memorable quotes and darkly funny lines in the movie, courtesy of screenwriters Dan and Kevin Hageman.

The film finds three teenage friends -- Stella Nicholls (Zoe Colletti), Chuck Steinberg (Austin Zajur), and Auggie Hildebrandt (Gabriel Rush) -- visiting a local haunted house. Accompanying them is a drifter, Ramon Morales (Michael Garza). Inside, they find a book belonging to one of the mansion's previous residents, the mysterious Sarah Bellows. Because they have disturbed her, Sarah's ghost begins writing new stories in the book, each of which has some catastrophic impact on one of the characters. A variety of creepy creatures appear, including a scarecrow and a pale woman.

Vote up your favorite Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark quotes from the list below, regardless of whether they're meant to send chills down your spine or are just witty one liners.
