The fourth season of True Blood premiered on June 26, 2011 and contains 12 episodes. The storyline picks up twelve and a half months after the events of season three; it is loosely based on the fourth novel in The Southern Vampire Mysteries series, Dead to the World.

True Blood - Season 1

The first season of True Blood premiered on September 7, 2008. The story takes place in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana, two years after vampires have made their presence known to mankind, and follows telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse as she attempts to solve a series of murders.

This season features several unforgettable episodes including: "Strange Love," "Burning House of Love," and "You'll Be the Death of Me."
