California Jam, or Cal Jam for short, is Nirvana (no pun intended) for fans of rock 'n' roll. The event launched in 1974 and managed to pull bigger crowds than the historic Woodstock Festival in Bethel, NY, in 1969. The festival may only span a day and a half, but it's stuffed to the brim with rock legends, new and old, looking to impress and collaborate with their fellow superstars. This year highlighted some of the best acts from previous decades and even managed to sneak in some rising stars (looking at you, Greta Van Fleet). The real highlight of the show came when Dave Grohl gathered the surviving members of Nirvana (along with Joan Jett and Deer Tick's John McCauley) and went on to play six of the band's most memorable songs. This was the second year of Cal Jam's revival, curated again by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and nearly every band managed to bring the house down.

These revolutionary and up-and-coming artists brought with them a slew of devoted and passionate fans sporting the most attention-grabbing band shirts. Some of these garments were pristine and appeared to have been bought at a festival kiosk, while others looked worn and torn, and must have been unearthed under a decade's worth of graphic tees.

Make sure to vote up the most awe-inspiring and FOMO-inducing articles of music memorabilia.
