When you think of the best skateboarders of all time, popular names like Tony Hawk and today's Nyjah Huston are often the first to come to mind. However, in an ever-growing (and ever-progressing) sport like skateboarding, there are many other top skaters that have made their mark on the industry—and continue to do so.
From skateboarding's early and influential pioneers like Jay Adams and the Z-Boys to the modern era's technical masters, such as Shane O'Neil, the sport of skateboarding has long list of the best to ever do it. Take Andrew Reynolds for instance. While he's easily regarded as one of the best street skateboarders of all time, Grant Taylor may be one of the better all-terrain skaters. In that same sense, most would argue famous skateboarder Bam Margera is not one of the world's best.
Whether they are simply the best skaters out right now or had a hand in influencing generations to come, the skateboarders to follow have all contributed greatly to skateboarding's history. Disagree?
