Unfortunately there aren't many pure slice of life anime currently streaming on Netflix. However, there are a few good options. If you want something that's slower paced, check out Mushi-Shi. This series follows a strange man named Ginko and his experiences with supernatural creatures called Mushi. The series isn't really serialized, so each episode basically tells its own story. Other options include Silver Spoon, an anime about a boy who decides to enroll in an agricultural high school, and The Devil is a Part-Timer!, an anime about working in a restaurant (with a twist).
Ouran High School Host Club is a manga series by Bisco Hatori, serialized in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine between the September 2002 and November 2010 issues. The manga has been adapted into an animated television series directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones. Mushishi is set in an imaginary time between the Edo and Meiji periods, featuring some 19th-century technology but with Japan still as a "closed country." The story features ubiquitous creatures called Mushi that often display what appear as supernatural powers.
