One of the best bands to come out of the Orange County, CA punk scene of the late '70s and early '80s, Social D achieved more mainstream success in third studio album in 1990. It's hit single, "Ball and Chain," became not only the group's anthem, but also that of its then bad boy lead singer Mike Ness.
