    A staple in the Nintendo Sports lineup, Bowling is making its third entry in the iconic franchise, and this time it comes with a few new massive twists! Featuring an incredible 1-16 player local and online matchmaking system, bowlers will be able to play solo or in teams of two as they aim to knock down as many pins as possible. If players have more than one Joy-Con, then everyone can join in on the fun at the same time, as waiting for turns is now a thing of the past! Of course, there is more than just traditional bowling this time around, as we have 2 bonus gameplay modes, including a battle royal-esque mode called Survival, and an obstacle-based mode called Special Bowling.

    For the first time since 2006's Wii Sports, fans of the Nintendo Sports franchise will be able to return to the courts and play the best virtual tennis matches Nintendo has to offer. In this newest installment in the Nintendo Sports franchise, players can square off in intense 2v2 matches where they can play by themselves against NPCs or with 1-3 other friends from either the comfort of their own home or online. New and exciting intuitive moves designed specifically for Joy-Cons are key, as players won’t just be able to serve and shoot, but with some fancy hand movements, can also dish out some baffling backhand shots and some tactical topspin shots to achieve tennis glory.

    A brand-new arrival to the Nintendo Sports library, Soccer is looking to add some fun for everyone. Featuring three incredible gameplay modes, players will be able to play in intense individual local 1-on-1 matchups, join an online league and play in sprawling 4v4 matchups, or take a pause from the excitement and relax in a solo Free Practice. During matches, players use the Joy-Cons to run, dash and jump all along the field to score goals in the ultimate competition. For fans looking for a more realistic experience, the Free Practice is where to be, as a brand new Leg Strap accessor allows players to step in the shoes of their favorite players and truly feel what it feels like to kick a game-winning goal.

    Making its first appearance in the Nintendo Sports series, Volleyball sets players up to serve, set, block, bump, and spike their way to victory! This 2-on-2 match has 1-4 players join together in person or online and compete in matches, earning in-game rewards, and even unlocking some customizable goodies. With three difficulty modes, players will be able to sit back and enjoy a nice relaxing game, or get a sweat in and face a daunting challenge.

    A familiar but brand new addition to the Nintendo Sports franchise, Badminton takes all the fun of classics like Tennis and Volleyball and wraps it into one spectacular package. Using the Joy-Con to keep the shuttlecock in the air, players will serve and smash in intense 1v1 matches where players battle to win rallies and score points. Play locally with people in the same room or with friends online for in-game rewards including customizable rackets, and, of course, bragging rights.

    A slight twist on an old classic, Chambara is a new mode featured in the Nintendo Sports lineup that is looking to elevate and perfect the classic Swordplay mode that was featured in 2009’s Wii Sports Resort. This intense 2-player battle for survival has players wielding Joy-Cons as swords, making a flurry of strikes, attacks, guards, and spins towards one another. Featuring both local and online play, duelers will be able to strut in style as they can incorporate a brand-new dual-wielding swordplay mechanic, as well as customizable weapons.
