Red Berenson was the first coach in Blues history to win a Jack Adams award, an award given annually to the NHL coach "adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success." Berenson' Blues never finished worse than third in their division. Brian Sutter was the second coach in Blues History to win a Jack Adams award. In Sutter's time coach as coach the Blues never missed the playoffs.Â
