For gamers who prefer to rely on their imagination instead of simply what's in front of them, Dungeons and Dragons is a must. You can play with any number of people, but for beginners, it's recommended that you keep it to a smaller group. Obviously, you'll need one player to be the Dungeon Master, which is the person who's responsible for coming up with the story and the encounter for the rest of the players.

The rest of the players will create characters, each with a different class and race. After that it's up to the players, as the Dungeon Master needs to adapt to what the players do because they can go on whatever adventures they want. Dungeons and Dragons is a great game for bonding friends and family together.

Some tabletop games are designed to be easy to pick and play, while some definitely require a little more experience. Betrayal At House On The Hill is definitely one for the latter camp as it's actually quite complex. As a result, it isn't a game that's for everyone, but if you take the time to learn the ins and outs, it can be quite enjoyable.

In the game, one player assumes the role of a traitor and the other players need to deduce who the traitor is. The game needs at least three players, but it can be played with up to six.
