The 100 is an American post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama series developed by Jason Rothenberg and is based on the novel series of the same name by Kass Morgan. Following a group of post-apocalyptic survivors who return to Earth, the series is a tense and thrilling mix of action and relationship drama. The 100 premiered on The CW on March 19, 2014, and has been nominated for multiple awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Visual Effects.
