List Rules This list includes studio albums only, so if you add an album make sure it's a proper studio release.

The Tragically Hip are among the best Canadian bands of all time. Since they’re such an influential band, let’s rank the best Tragically Hip albums, with the help of your votes. Formed in 1984 in Kingston, Ontario, The Hip (as they’re called by hardcore fans) was made up of childhood friends who gigged locally and eventually earned a record deal with MCA after a blistering set at Toronto’s famous Horseshoe Tavern. After 13 studio albums, including their critically acclaimed Fully Completely (1992), lead singer Gordon Downie died on October 17, 2017. If Ireland has U2, Canada has The Tragically Hip.

This Tragically Hip discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top Tragically Hip albums can be found at the top of the list. To make it easy for you, we haven't included The Tragically Hip singles, EPs, or compilations, so everything you see here should only be studio albums. If you think the greatest Tragically Hip album isn't high enough on the list, then be sure to vote for it so it receives the credit it deserves.

This list of popular Tragically Hip CDs has been voted on by music fans around the world, so the order of this list isn't just one person's opinion.
