List RulesThis list includes studio albums only, so if you add an album make sure it's a proper studio release.

Thin Lizzy are widely considered one of the best classic rock bands of all time. Since they’re such an influential band, let’s rank the best Thin Lizzy albums, with the help of your votes. Thin Lizzy was like no other rock band of their time. While their contemporaries were singing about the decadence and excess of musicians living in the ‘70s, singer/songwriter Phil Lynott mostly wrote intelligent songs about the trials of the working class, love, and hate, all in a descriptive Irish literary prose. (That said, Lynott did have fun with "The Boys Are Back in Town" in 1976, arguably their most identifiable song.) While all 12 of their studio albums are cherished by fans; it’s arguable that Black Rose: A Rock Legend (1979) saw the band at their overall best.

This Thin Lizzy discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top Thin Lizzy albums can be found at the top of the list. To make it easy for you, we haven't included Thin Lizzy singles, EPs, or compilations, so everything you see here should only be studio albums. If you think the greatest Thin Lizzy album isn't high enough on the list, then be sure to vote for it so it receives the credit it deserves.

This list of popular Thin Lizzy CDs has been voted on by music fans around the world, so the order of this list isn't just one person's opinion. Make sure you don't just vote for critically acclaimed albums; if you have a favorite Thin Lizzy album, then vote it up, even if it's not necessarily the most popular.
