One of the best new additions to your television programming schedule are shows about Asian-Americans. This long-neglected group of the population has never been well-represented in Hollywood, but times are changing and there are some incredible television series out right now featuring some of the most talented Asian American actors and actresses. If you're looking for a new pool of talent to fill your next binge-watching session, this list of TV shows about Asian Americans will definitely help you find something new.

Asian Americans have long been relegated to the role of villain or punching bag with few taking leading roles until relatively recently. Shows like ABC's Fresh Off the Boat offer a glimpse in the lives of a Taiwanese family as they emigrate to the US and make their way across the East Coast to open a restaurant. Other series like Quantico star Asian Americans as their leads, including the ever-popular Priyanka Chopra. In short, there's a decent list of shows starring Asian-Americans.
