Art Monk

James Arthur Monk (born December 5, 1957) is an American former football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins, New York Jets, and the Philadelphia Eagles.  Monk was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
He is a relative (first cousin once removed) of jazz pioneer Thelonious Monk.

Charley Taylor

Charles Robert Taylor (born September 28, 1941) is a former American football player, a wide receiver in the National Football League for fourteen seasons, all with the Washington Redskins.  Taylor was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1984.
With Taylor, the Redskins made the playoffs five times (1971–1974, 1976) and reached the Super Bowl once (VII), after the 1972 season.

Gary Clark

Gary C. Clark (born May 1, 1962) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins (1985–92), Phoenix Cardinals (1993–94), and Miami Dolphins (1995).

Santana Moss

Santana Terrell Moss (born June 1, 1979) is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for fourteen seasons. He played college football for the University of Miami, where he earned All-American honors.  Moss was picked by the New York Jets in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft, where he spent 4 seasons with the team, before playing for the Washington Redskins for 10 seasons. Moss was selected as an All-Pro in 2005.

Ricky Sanders

Ricky Wayne Sanders (born August 30, 1962) is a former American football wide receiver who played professionally for twelve seasons from 1983 to 1994, two with the United States Football League's Houston Gamblers and ten in the National Football League (eight seasons with the Washington Redskins and two with the Atlanta Falcons). He played running back, safety, and place kicker (on kickoffs) as a three-year letterman for Belton High School in Belton, Texas and broke five records.

Pierre Garçon

Pierre Andre Garçon (; born August 8, 1986) is an American Football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Norwich University and Mount Union College, and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He also played five seasons with the Washington Redskins and two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

Charlie Brown

Charles Brown (born October 29, 1958) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons for the Washington Redskins (and helped win Super Bowl XVII in his rookie season) and Atlanta Falcons.  He was traded by the Redskins to the Falcons on August 26, 1985, in exchange for Pro Bowl guard R.C. Thielemann. He was nicknamed "Good ol' Charlie Brown" in reference to the eponymous comic strip character.
He played college football at South Carolina State University and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1981 NFL Draft. Brown played wide receiver and defensive back for the Washington Commandos of the Arena Football League in 1990. He was a receiver for the short-lived Washington Marauders of the Professional Spring Football League in 1992. Brown was head coach of the Savannah High Blue Jackets (Savannah,Georgia) of the Savannah Chatham County Football League.
He is currently wide receivers coach of Marlboro County High School Bulldogs varsity football team in Bennettsville, South Carolina.

DeSean Jackson

DeSean William Jackson (born December 1, 1986) is an American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of California, Berkeley, where he was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft, and has also played for the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackson has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times, and was the first player selected to the Pro Bowl at two different positions in the same year when he was named to the 2010 Pro Bowl as a wide receiver and return specialist.

Roy Jefferson

Roy Lee Jefferson (born November 9, 1943) is a former American football player, a wide receiver in the National Football League for twelve seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Colts, and Washington Redskins.  During 162 regular season games, he had 451 receptions for 7,539 yards and 52 touchdowns.

Henry Ellard

Henry Austin Ellard (born July 21, 1961) is a former American football wide receiver who played for the Los Angeles Rams (1983–1993), Washington Redskins (1994–1998), and the New England Patriots (1998) of the National Football League (NFL). Ellard also qualified for the Olympic trials in 1992 in the triple jump, although he injured his hamstring during the Trials and did not make the team.

Ricky Thompson

Ricky Don Thompson (born May 15, 1954) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Colts, the Washington Redskins, and the St. Louis Cardinals.  He played college football at Baylor University and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1976 NFL Draft.
Thompson was a member of the 1974 Southwest Conference (SWC) championship team at Baylor which is known in school lore as the "Miracle on the Brazos" team since the 1973 Baylor team had finished in last place and the 1974 team was picked last by many.  Thompson scored two of Baylor's three touchdowns in the 1975 Cotton Bowl Classic against Penn State.
Thompson is currently the football sideline reporter for the Baylor Radio Network.

Jamison Crowder

Antwaan Randle El

Antwaan Randle El (; born August 17, 1979) is an American football coach and former player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He is currently an offensive assistant for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He attended Indiana University where he played college football for the Indiana Hoosiers, and also played basketball and baseball as well. He is currently the sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network for interconference games that the Indiana football team plays.
Following four years at Indiana, Randle El was chosen in the second round (62nd overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft, by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Playing with the Steelers for four seasons, he was active in all 64 regular season games with 23 starts, finding success as a wide receiver, kick returner and punt returner. He was also instrumental in a number of trick plays, including throwing a touchdown pass as a wide receiver for the Steelers in Super Bowl XL against the Seattle Seahawks, the only wide receiver in Super Bowl history to do so. After the 2005 NFL season, Randle El was signed as a free agent to the Washington Redskins. As a receiver for the Redskins, he scored ten touchdowns, catching eight and throwing two. In 2007, Randle El was sidelined for a game against the Buffalo Bills with a hamstring injury, to date being his only inactive game.
Randle El was released by the Redskins in March 2010, re-signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers shortly after. Randle El was also named fifth in USA Today's All-Decade kick returners.

Albert Gene Anthony Connell (born May 13, 1974) is a former American football wide receiver who played for the Washington Redskins and the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League, and for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.

Frank Grant

Frank Grant (born February 15, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He played college football at Southern Colorado and was drafted in the 13th round of the 1972 NFL Draft.
Born in Brooklyn, New York City, Grant was raised in Newark, New Jersey and attended East Side High School, where he played organized football for the first time despite having been told as a freshman that he was too small, at 140 pounds (64 kg), to play the sport competitively.

James Thrash

James Ray Thrash (born April 28, 1975) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 1997. He played college football at Missouri Southern State University.
Thrash also played for the Washington Redskins.  He currently works on the Redskins' player development staff.

Rod Gardner

Roderick F. Gardner (born October 26, 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida) is a former American college and professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons.

Virgil Seay

Virgil LeVan Seay (born January 1, 1958) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Falcons.  He played college football at Troy State University and was drafted in the tenth round of the 1980 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.  Seay's highlight of his career was winning the Super Bowl with Hall of Fame coach, Joe Gibbs in 1982. He is well known for being a member of Washington Redskin's "The Fun Bunch."  Seay spent several years as an assistant varsity football and track coach at Lake Braddock Secondary School as well as coaching track at Williamsburg Middle School in Arlington, Virginia.
For the past few years he has been the owner of Virgil Seay Sports and Activities, a sports camp for 7 to 14 year olds. He is also an assistant football coach at George Mason University.
He is married to Claudia (Burroughs) Seay.  They have two daughters Meghan and Zoie.

David Patten

David Patten (born August 19, 1974) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Albany Firebirds as a street free agent in 1996. He played college football at Western Carolina.
Patten was also a member of the Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots. He earned three Super Bowl rings with the Patriots.

Laveranues Coles

Laveranues Leon Coles (; born December 29, 1977) is a former American football wide receiver who played 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).  He played college football for Florida State University.  He was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2000 NFL Draft.  A Pro Bowl selection in 2003, Coles also played for the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals.

Michael Westbrook

Michael Deanailo Westbrook (born July 7, 1972) is a former American college and professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) and is also a former mixed martial artist.  Westbrook played college football for the University of Colorado, and was recognized as an All-American.  He was drafted in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL.  After retiring from football, he later competed as a mixed martial arts fighter in the heavyweight division.

Leslie Shepherd

Leslie Glenard Shepherd (born November 3, 1969 in Washington, D.C.) is a former professional American football player in the National Football League. He played seven years, the first five with the Washington Redskins, and one apiece for the Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins. Arguably his best season came in 1998, when he had nine touchdowns, eight receiving and one rushing.
He now coaches at Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, Maryland.
He is the father of 5th year UVA football player Khalek Shepherd and Chaudiler Shepherd of Concord University, who are also looking to follow in their father's footsteps.

Danny Buggs

Daniel "Danny" Buggs (born April 22, 1953 in Duluth, Georgia) is a former American football wide receiver for the New York Giants and Washington Redskins of the National Football League, the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, and the Tampa Bay Bandits and San Antonio Gunslingers of the United States Football League.

John McDaniel

John McDaniel (born September 23, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins.  He played college football at Lincoln University of Missouri and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1974 NFL Draft.

Boyd Dowler

Boyd Hamilton Dowler (born October 18, 1937) is a former professional football player, a wide receiver in the National Football League. He played twelve seasons from 1959 to 1971, eleven with the Green Bay Packers and one with the Washington Redskins.
Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, Dowler grew up in Cheyenne, where his father Walter was a high school history teacher. He was also a former football coach who had played college football at Wyoming. Boyd was a three-sport athlete at Cheyenne High School. He played college football at the University of Colorado as a single-wing quarterback under head coach Dal Ward.
Dowler led the Big Seven conference in receiving as a junior in 1957, but spent more time as a passer and runner during his senior season.  While at Colorado, he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
The 25th overall pick in the 1959 NFL Draft, Dowler was the NFL rookie of the year in 1959, Vince Lombardi's first season as head coach. Dowler was a two-time Pro Bowler in 1965 and 1967, and a key contributor on the Packers dynasty in the 1960s, assisting the team to five NFL championship wins and victories in Super Bowls I and II.  A late hit by Dallas Cowboys defensive back Mike Gaechter in the end zone following a third quarter touchdown catch resulted in a shoulder injury in the 1966 NFL Championship Game. Dowler aggravated the shoulder early in the first quarter of the first Super Bowl two weeks later, allowing seldom-used Max McGee to be a significant contributor in the game with two touchdown catches. Dowler made a big impact the following year in Super Bowl II with a 62-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Bart Starr in the first half. He finished the game as the top receiver for the Packers, with two receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown.  Dowler is a member of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame and the NFL 1960s All-Decade Team.
After eleven seasons with the Packers ending in 1969, Dowler played one year for the Washington Redskins in 1971.
Dowler retired with a career record of 474 receptions for 7,270 yards and 40 touchdowns.  He led the Packers in receptions for seven seasons.  
Dowler is currently a scout for the Atlanta Falcons.
