Art Monk

James Arthur Monk (born December 5, 1957) is an American former football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins, New York Jets, and the Philadelphia Eagles.  Monk was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
He is a relative (first cousin once removed) of jazz pioneer Thelonious Monk.

Gary Clark

Gary C. Clark (born May 1, 1962) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins (1985–92), Phoenix Cardinals (1993–94), and Miami Dolphins (1995).

Santana Moss

Santana Terrell Moss (born June 1, 1979) is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for fourteen seasons. He played college football for the University of Miami, where he earned All-American honors.  Moss was picked by the New York Jets in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft, where he spent 4 seasons with the team, before playing for the Washington Redskins for 10 seasons. Moss was selected as an All-Pro in 2005.

Charley Taylor

Charles Robert Taylor (September 28, 1941 – February 19, 2022) was an American professional football player who was a wide receiver for 13 seasons with the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils, he was selected by Washington in the first round of the 1964 NFL Draft. With Taylor, the Redskins made the playoffs five times (1971–1974, 1976) and reached the Super Bowl once (VII), after the 1972 season. A six-time All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowl selection, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1984.

Ricky Sanders

Ricky Wayne Sanders (born August 30, 1962) is a former American football wide receiver who played professionally for twelve seasons from 1983 to 1994, two with the United States Football League's Houston Gamblers and ten in the National Football League (eight seasons with the Washington Redskins and two with the Atlanta Falcons). He played running back, safety, and place kicker (on kickoffs) as a three-year letterman for Belton High School in Belton, Texas and broke five records.

Charlie Brown

Charles Brown (born October 29, 1958) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons for the Washington Redskins (and helped win Super Bowl XVII in his rookie season) and Atlanta Falcons.  He was traded by the Redskins to the Falcons on August 26, 1985, in exchange for Pro Bowl guard R.C. Thielemann. He was nicknamed "Good ol' Charlie Brown" in reference to the eponymous comic strip character.
He played college football at South Carolina State University and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1981 NFL Draft. Brown played wide receiver and defensive back for the Washington Commandos of the Arena Football League in 1990. He was a receiver for the short-lived Washington Marauders of the Professional Spring Football League in 1992. Brown was head coach of the Savannah High Blue Jackets (Savannah,Georgia) of the Savannah Chatham County Football League.
He is currently wide receivers coach of Marlboro County High School Bulldogs varsity football team in Bennettsville, South Carolina.

Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin (born September 15, 1995) is an American football wide receiver for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State and was drafted by Washington, then known as the Redskins, in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was named to the 2019 PFWA All-Rookie Team after recording over 900 receiving yards with seven touchdowns.

Bobby Mitchell

Robert Cornelius Mitchell (born June 6, 1935) is a former American football halfback and flanker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland Browns and the Washington Redskins. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1983. He currently runs the Cleveland Browns UK supporters society along with co-founder Samuel Bould.

Pierre Garçon

Pierre Andre Garçon (; born August 8, 1986) is an American Football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Norwich University and Mount Union College, and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He also played five seasons with the Washington Redskins and two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

Roy Jefferson

Roy Lee Jefferson (born November 9, 1943) is a former American football player, a wide receiver in the National Football League for twelve seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Colts, and Washington Redskins.  During 162 regular season games, he had 451 receptions for 7,539 yards and 52 touchdowns.

DeSean Jackson

DeSean William Jackson (born December 1, 1986) is an American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of California, Berkeley, where he was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft, and has also played for the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackson has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times, and was the first player selected to the Pro Bowl at two different positions in the same year when he was named to the 2010 Pro Bowl as a wide receiver and return specialist.

Niles Paul

Niles Paul (born August 9, 1989) is a former American football tight end. He played college football as a wide receiver at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and was selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.

Henry Ellard

Henry Austin Ellard (born July 21, 1961) is a former American football wide receiver who played for the Los Angeles Rams (1983–1993), Washington Redskins (1994–1998), and the New England Patriots (1998) of the National Football League (NFL). Ellard also qualified for the Olympic trials in 1992 in the triple jump, although he injured his hamstring during the Trials and did not make the team.

Virgil Seay

Virgil LeVan Seay (born January 1, 1958) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Falcons.  He played college football at Troy State University and was drafted in the tenth round of the 1980 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.  Seay's highlight of his career was winning the Super Bowl with Hall of Fame coach, Joe Gibbs in 1982. He is well known for being a member of Washington Redskin's "The Fun Bunch."  Seay spent several years as an assistant varsity football and track coach at Lake Braddock Secondary School as well as coaching track at Williamsburg Middle School in Arlington, Virginia.
For the past few years he has been the owner of Virgil Seay Sports and Activities, a sports camp for 7 to 14 year olds. He is also an assistant football coach at George Mason University.
He is married to Claudia (Burroughs) Seay.  They have two daughters Meghan and Zoie.

Jamison Crowder

Jamison Wesley Crowder (born June 17, 1993) is an American football wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Duke, and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. A native of Monroe, North Carolina, Crowder was a three-year letterman at Monroe High School under coach Johnny Sowell. He helped lead Monroe High School to a three-year record of 29–10 with three state playoff berths. As a junior, he had 26 catches for 618 yards with 19 total touchdowns. He participated in the 74th annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas played December 18, 2010, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Ricky Thompson

Ricky Don Thompson (born May 15, 1954) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Colts, the Washington Redskins, and the St. Louis Cardinals.  He played college football at Baylor University and was drafted in the eighth round of the 1976 NFL Draft.
Thompson was a member of the 1974 Southwest Conference (SWC) championship team at Baylor which is known in school lore as the "Miracle on the Brazos" team since the 1973 Baylor team had finished in last place and the 1974 team was picked last by many.  Thompson scored two of Baylor's three touchdowns in the 1975 Cotton Bowl Classic against Penn State.
Thompson is currently the football sideline reporter for the Baylor Radio Network.

Frank Grant

Frank Grant (born February 15, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He played college football at Southern Colorado and was drafted in the 13th round of the 1972 NFL Draft.
Born in Brooklyn, New York City, Grant was raised in Newark, New Jersey and attended East Side High School, where he played organized football for the first time despite having been told as a freshman that he was too small, at 140 pounds (64 kg), to play the sport competitively.

Laveranues Leon Coles (; born December 29, 1977) is a former American football wide receiver who played 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).  He played college football for Florida State University.  He was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2000 NFL Draft.  A Pro Bowl selection in 2003, Coles also played for the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals.

James Thrash

James Ray Thrash (born April 28, 1975) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 1997. He played college football at Missouri Southern State University.
Thrash also played for the Washington Redskins.  He currently works on the Redskins' player development staff.

Joey Galloway

Joseph Scott Galloway (born November 20, 1971) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) and current college football analyst with ESPN. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks eighth overall in the 1995 NFL Draft and also played for the Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins. He played college football at Ohio State. He is the NFL's career leader in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns among players to not be selected for a Pro Bowl.

Curtis Samuel

Curtis Samuel (born August 11, 1996) is an American football wide receiver for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State. Samuel attended Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York, where he played as a running back for the Dutchmen football team and also ran track. As a junior, he rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. In track, he won the 55 meters at the New York State track and field championships with a time of 6.44 seconds. In addition to his success as a running back, he also scored three receiving touchdowns and two punt return touchdowns during his junior year. In his senior year, he rushed for 1,461 yards with 17 touchdowns.

Keenan McCardell

Keenan Wayne McCardell (; born January 6, 1970) is a former American football wide receiver who played 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).  He played college football for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 12th round of the 1991 NFL Draft, and he was also a member of the Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers and Houston Texans. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, McCardell won two Super Bowl rings, with the Redskins in 1991 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. He is currently the wide receivers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Daniel "Danny" Buggs (born April 22, 1953 in Duluth, Georgia) is a former American football wide receiver for the New York Giants and Washington Redskins of the National Football League, the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, and the Tampa Bay Bandits and San Antonio Gunslingers of the United States Football League.
