Western musical movies are a very distinct kind of thing. They combine two genres that you wouldn't necessarily expect to mix well together. Many of these films were made between the 1920s and the 1950s, but there have been some more modern western musicals, as well. The Coen brothers' The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is one example. Needless to say, when people start singing while riding horses or wandering through the wild, wild West, you're in for some off-beat fun. So if you're into singing cowboys or simply musicals that take place in the untamed west, from Clint Eastwood to Elvis, this list has something for you.
